This is true though another point that annoys me is parents waiting to die. Less money at an early age is a game changer. People should be doing UTMAs. Even if only a small amount. For larger estates, amounts vary based on how responsible the kid is. Better to do this early.
This is why you setup a family trust and a separate marital trust for your wife. This way if you die, your wife has her assets and the children have their assets. You dont have to worry about your wife remarrying. And if your wife dies, her trust assets go to your children.

Too many people think they’re gonna get invited to where they want to be in life. You have to do the work and put yourself where you want to be.

It’s always a message of fear. My entire life. Nuclear winter, killer bees, acid rain, global warming, rebranded climate change, Covid, now AI. Reject the demonic spirit of fear.
2006 vs 2026 “Be worried. Be very worried.” I remember when they said all the polar bears were going to go extinct and Miami was going to be underwater due to melting ice caps.

In the moment it always feels like this time will be different…
They said the same thing about the printing press, electricity, cars, air travel, computers and the Internet. During every shift throughout history, there are people who become the anti innovation people of their time. Leaving after 3 years means his shares vested.

Ownership. Focus on ownership. Ownership as an individual, family and community. Own your time, energy, ideas and assets. Learn and network with other owners. Educate others on how to become owners and provide tools for self-empowerment.

Smart people have been against Ring for a while. Reolink, Ubiquiti and others have less invasive alternatives. xitter.cf/AoverK/status/13993448…
People forget that Amazon is the Feds. Ring, Echo, Alexa etc. and now Internet sharing are all mass surveillance tools which create a large mesh network. They’ll likely sale the data to police departments and 3 letter agencies in a move to become the largest security company.

People have to own assets. And 5% inflation is below the real number which is closer to 7-8%. Using the growth of the M2 money supply is a better measurement of inflation. xitter.cf/aoverk/status/20879579…
By the 2040s or 2050s, the interest payments on the national debt will be around 40% of all revenues. This means inflation is only going to rise due to money printing. You have to own assets. That’s the only way to avoid the permanent underclass.

The third world was never supposed to know about how the first world lives. And much of the first world was never supposed to see how the 1% live. It was all meant to be conveyed via rumors and stories. The Internet and global travel really distorted some things.

3x, people are already trying to catch up with pre covid cost of living.
In 10 years, you’ll need to make 2x what you make today just to maintain the same standard of living.

People definitely need to pay attention to the shift away from physical media. Buy physical books. Download the Internet. Own and create content. Physical media and content will be more valuable over time.
I feel like @AoverK has been warning about this for awhile…🤔🤔🤔

Download the Internet. I mean this literally. If there is info or media that you like and you want to have access to it in the future print it out, find an offline hard copy, etc. Especially if it’s on any centralized service. Over time more info will be changed or be deleted

What @tobi is doing here is remarkable: running GLM-5.2, a 753B-parameter AI model, locally on a Dell Pro Max with GB300 at 40 tokens per second. No data center. No API. No cloud. Unmetered intelligence. Frontier-scale AI is becoming personal.🚀
Thank you @nvidia for the hookup on this DGX Workstation. This will crunch a *lot* of high quality tokens here! This thing is a total beast.

Paying $20/mo for AI puts you in the 0.3% globally. Using AI for tasks like coding puts you in the 0.04% globally with only 2-5 million doing this. We’re still early.
your timeline convinced you AI is in a bubble. talk to a boomer above the age 35 for 5 minutes. most people don’t even know what claude is. kind of wild when you zoom out.
