Can I just tell you how much I love Breakouts? Watching these Ss in @ApacheJohnson1’s 1st grade, work hard on their math and language skills was exciting! They proved they were ready for second grade! #teamwork #showwhatyouknow
Love the student lead collaboration and hard work of these fabulous 1st graders. Can't wait to see their presentations! @ApacheIS512
Today’s 1st grade problem solving activity: How do we fit all 21 students into this tiny triangle. After a lot of student led leadership, collaboration, reconfiguration and brainstorming, WE DID IT!!!! @ApacheIS512

So proud of the growth and hard work these 1st graders put in this semester. We showed over 207 (stars) points of growth in reading & 194 (stars) points! They couldn't wait to put their stars on our posters but the best was hearing them cheer on each other as they placed them!!!
We had a great time celebrating with Thanksgiving activities throughout the day. I loved seeing all the teamwork and creativity, but most of all, I loved reading about how thankful we are for each other. Enjoy the much deserved break, 1J!!! @ApacheIS512

What a way to kick off our community helper PBL unit. We loved having our special guest come and tell us about what they do to help our community! @ApacheIS512 @theSMSD

Learning isn’t incidental. The culture of a school isn’t accidental.
Each interaction between adults and students impacts both.
@ApacheJohnson1 led 1st graders through a simple but powerful routine of noticing and noting before phonics work. @ApacheIS512 teachers rock!
It can’t only be the 3rd week of school! Look at these 1st graders hard at work in their centers. #ApacheAllStars @ApacheIS512
Fan girling over @mradamwelcome presentation this morning. Can't wait to learn the language of my students this year!
