Today, I am having a frank and transparent discussion with our agriculture industry partners on their concerns should the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AOGA) not be renewed. 👩🌾
VODACOM!!! … our wifi has been down since 7am yesterday. Everyone of your staff has a different “story” which ends with the same scripted response of “we will escalate”. They should add “SLOWLY”. Time to move along and find a better SP 😡 @Vodacom @Vodacom111 @vumatel

Omicron is not a 'South African variant', it's a variant that was spotted & reported by brilliant South African scientists so fast the world has a chance to get on top of it. Could have originated anywhere.

Earlier today, the @CapePhil performed a Concert of Gratitude outside Groote Schuur Hospital, showing their appreciation of frontline healthcare workers. I thank them sincerely for this beautiful display of gratitude and join them in honouring our healthcare workers country-wide.
What a blessed gesture 🙏🏼. We salute our healthcare workers and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra #ConcertofGratitude #CPO #GrooteSchuurHospital #MustWatch youtu.be/8yzfK__dSs4 via @YouTube

I have a soft spot for this ever smiling contestant, sassy Daylin Sass. He's just a whole vibe, firstly, and...I keep thinking of Rehana Rossouw's What Will People Say? set in Hanover Park.
This talented young man is proof you can dream beyond your early life. Love his energy.
Fully “Pfizer’ed” 🔥 up today! Brilliant, slick, friendly and super efficient service at the Discovery site in Newlands. #IGotMyVaccine #2ndJab #DoubleDose #FullyVaxxed @Discovery_SA
😞 Oh Sidwell @SMedupe … you will be sorely missed but will always be remembered for your calm, gentle & kind nature - and not forgetting that wicked sense of humour. The @the_dti and it’s stakeholders feels this loss. Condolences to the Medupe family. Rest In Peace 💜🙏🏼
We remember Sidwell for his warmth, love for people & the joy with which he interacted with his colleagues. His passing deprives his family of a husband & father. The @the_dti have lost a hardworking and dedicated public official.

I believe in our remarkable Constitution and our great anthem. But I’m no longer buying the ‘kumbaya’ to get us through this crisis.
We need wise leadership. Intelligent states-people. We need a plan to solve poverty. We need an economy that can create growth. No more singing.

A week from hell, with so-called leaders clueless/missing! But a glimmer of hope as the real leaders emerge: ordinary citizens doing extraordinary things❤️
Love between humans - transcending man-made divisions of politics, race, religion, class - is only thing to get us through🇿🇦
