Kemi Badenoch trying to sound convincing in PMQs that we don't want to rejoin the EU, but I am happy to put on record, I do!

‘Nobody wants to reopen the Brexit debate’ lies Kemi Badenoch who knows only too well that two thirds of the U.K. population has realised that they were sold a dead duck
The rejoin stance alone will bring a Labour victory in the next General Election
As she well knows
#PMQs
#pmqs Badenoch: No-one wants to re-open the debate on Brexit.
Yet every poll now shows the majority want to rejoin.

Within 100 days in office, he's set the UK on an unswerving course to Rejoin the EU.
If @andyburnham achieves nothing else, I'll be happy with that.

Sky news interveiwing Andrew Rosindale reform MP to critic Labours budget today, WTF its like talking to a 6 year old, stupid stupid stupid.
Wer'e on our way back into the EU, i for one love it
'I was struck by his confidence in that political attack.'
@Lewis_Goodall believes Andy Burnham's performance in PMQs today overshadowed his chancellor's budget.

My view won’t come as a surprise to my constituents.
I feel as strongly about UK membership of the EU in 2026 as I did in 2016 when I resigned from the Shadow Cabinet to vote against the triggering of Article 50 because there was no plan.

What if Britain restored Freedom of Movement, but this time applied all the rules?
Rules everyone understands. Rules that can be enforced.
And, crucially, rights for British people to live and work across Europe again.
Here's how it could work.
Luz Truss being rolled out in Sky news to humiliate herself this morning, it's not easy listening.
New book or not this is not news it's an excercise in the absurd.

The Brexit supporters lied and lied and lied.
There were no benefits to Brexit, except for the super rich tax avoiders.
It’s time to rejoin the European Union urgently.

A Professor on LBC Radio said that EU free movement would mean EU workers coming to the UK to do jobs British don’t want to do and that isn’t good because it means that British workers can’t do those jobs, which they don’t want to do?
To find a safe seat for Reform Ltd means they all have to stand in Clacton then together with Farage.
Replying to @Nikhedonia11
They’ll move to safer seats. They’ve completely screwed their reputations so being an MP is all they have left.

Burnham is teeing it up for a manifesto commitment - and that’s the right way to do it.
BREAKING: "I will never move ahead of the British public when it comes to Brexit."
The PM has ruled out re-joining the EU within 'this parliament', but he would 'like' to see the UK return in his lifetime.

Freedom of Movement is NOT freedom to stay unconditionally.
EU countries are within their rights to apply conditions eg employment after 3 months etc.
So the idea that 500m people could come to the UK and live on benefits is a lie.
Mike Ap#FBP🏴🇪🇺 retweeted
Brexit supporters rarely mention (or realise) that by reinstating Freedom of Movement, UK workers have many more opportunities and a much larger market for their skills.
FoM can actually reduce unemployment AND increase skills.
If a government regulates this correctly there is no downside for our freedom of movement to be returned to us and no valid reason for the Brexiteers to complain, even the flagshaggers and reform voters must see this, if they had lalf a brain that is.
EU Freedom of Movement is NOT an unconditional right under EU law: it is conditional on finding a job or being self-sufficient i.e. not being a burden on taxpayers. Otherwise they have no right to stay.

No they didn't, not one person voted for that or to leave the single market or the customs union because it was never mentioned, the opposite in fact we were assured we wouldn't.
Get your facts right.
This is yet another example of Burnham’s foot in mouth syndrome. He hasn’t thought this through or the implications.
Most people who voted for Brexit did so because they didn’t want free movement. Too many politicians have failed to understand the significance and impact of immigration on communities.
We have had more than enough experience of what happens when politicians (including previous Conservative governments) promise control but fail to deliver it. The answer is to learn from those mistakes, not reopen free movement.

To put it bluntly: According to the latest "peace plan" from street-huckster Wittkop and the Kremlin...
🇺🇦 Ukraine must:
• Withdraw its troops from the Donetsk region
• Abandon plans to join NATO
🇪🇺 Europe must:
• Resume the purchase of Russian energy resources
• Admit Ukraine into the EU
🇷🇺 Russia must:
• Do nothing
🇺🇸 The USA must:
• Do nothing
In exchange, Ukraine is expected to relinquish the territories occupied by Russia, receiving in return security guarantees described as being "similar to NATO’s Article 5." Given the current conduct of the US administration, however, many no longer even have faith in Article 5 itself—let alone in "similar" guarantees.
In short: This is not a peace plan; it is a word that begins with "capit" and ends with "ulation."
And it represents a capitulation not only for Ukraine but also for Europe—which, under this plan, Trump intends to bring completely to its knees before the USA and Russia.
