Excellent first meeting with the APPG on Europe with a good discussion on bilateral relations, security & defence, trade and migration, as set out in the #KensingtonTreaty. MPs will play a key role in bringing the treaty to life. Look forward to working with the APPG on Germany.

We've just had the APPG on Europe AGM and I am delighted to be re-appointed as CO-Chair. The year ahead will involve more Parliamentarians in a constructive look at UK-EU relations. Recent comments from President Trump portraying Europe as "weak" are wrong. @ConsEurope

Today, there is a UK-EU summit to discuss working together on things that just make sense. Like shorter queues at airports, security cooperation and youth mobility.

Important and timely visit by APPG Co-Chair @DrRosena to Brussels.
At a time of growing global threats, deeper UK-EU cooperation on defence & security is more vital than ever.
The Summit on 19 May is a key opportunity to advance a comprehensive UK-EU security pact. 🇬🇧🇪🇺
