CAUGHT: Sayed Mohassib, 27, a former NYPD officer and current NYC public school teacher’s aide (🤯🤯), has been charged with murdering Katie Suarez, 28, who was brutally stabbed in the neck while jogging along a Brooklyn waterfront path on Oct. 30. Her father found her after she failed to return from her run. She died days later. Police sources say Mohassib told detectives he couldn’t remember the attack but recalled waking up covered in blood and holding a knife. Investigators believe he threw the weapon away, and it was transported through a Staten Island landfill. Police say the only known connection between Mohassib and Suarez is that both attended Brooklyn College. This is also INSANE: Mohassib currently works at P.S. 200 in Bensonhurst. He previously served briefly with the NYPD but was reportedly deemed psychologically unfit. He was also discharged from the Marines over mental health concerns and later unsuccessfully attempted to rejoin the NYPD. So he’s kicked out of the NYPD for being mentally unfit, but welcomed by the DOE??? They had NO reservations in him being around children???
