Syria is a complex case. The majority of analyses are mostly from a geo-political perspective without taking into account Syria's internal dynamics. The problems are structural and go back even decades before Bashar Al-Assad.A refusal to acknowledge that -1/n

This is the best news in decades of ICC work! Kudos to the judges and the whole OTP for having managed to resist the unprecedented pressures. I think of the Gaza victims that we represent and that finally can see something concrete in the direction of justice

📣Enfin ! 🇮🇱⚖️🇵🇸 icc-cpi.int/news/situation-s…

Videos show the shocking scale of demolitions that the IDF are carrying out across southern Lebanon - in a 3km strip along the border villages are razed, homes and cultural buildings destroyed by ⁦@rayajalabi⁩ and the ⁦@FT⁩ visual stories team on.ft.com/4fbtzJe

Recipes cross borders, bringing us back to a mobile and circular Mediterranean. Tunisia ranks as the second-largest consumer of pasta after Italy. I wrote an in-depth reportage for Mappe (now available in Italian bookstores), with intimate, amazing photos from Skander Khlif.

🇱🇧 My friend’s house is in this video. He spent the past hours thinking of how to tell his father that the house that he had rebuilt twice already is now gone. Again. 💔 Anyone who even tries to find excuses for such attacks is delusional and has lost all sense of humanity. Israel’s destruction and disregard for international human rights have surpassed all limits. But what we should not stay silent about either is Hezbollah’s decision to drag us into this war, with no political end game whatsoever, and with objectives tailored to Sinwar’s calculations and Iran’s agenda. Israel’s insatiable appetite for war is undebatable. But also, Hezbollah has recklessly put our present and future in jeopardy, and unilaterally taken the decision to transform Lebanon into a ground for perpetual wars. Having the courage to denounce this loudly and clearly and refusing to succumb to this imposed reality should be the starting point of any post-war political process among the Lebanese.

URGENT! These 6 Palestinians are among the last journalists surviving Israel's onslaught in Gaza (with 130+ of their colleagues killed in the last year). Declaring them "terrorists" sounds like a death sentence. They must be protected at all cost.
EXPOSED: 6 Al Jazeera journalists have been exposed as Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists. The IDF has disclosed intelligence information and numerous documents found in Gaza confirming military affiliation of six Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations, including personnel tables, lists of terrorist training courses, phone directories, and salary documents for terrorists. These documents serve as proof of the integration of Hamas terrorists within the Qatari Al Jazeera media network. Most of the journalists that the IDF has exposed as operatives in Hamas' military wing spearhead the propaganda for Hamas at Al Jazeera, especially in northern Gaza.

The website spreading this information is clearly untrustworthy. The fact that it is going viral, even among those working on the region, highlights the urgency for accurate coverage.
