Let's build the tools necessary for people to be able to demystify the process of critical thinking. Our survival depends on it.
This has to be the dumbest take on abortion, but given the propensity for the GOP to be old men, should we really be surprised by this kind of ignorance?
Fake News desperately trying to make the Arizona Supreme Court decision a huge election issue. It won’t work. I’m pro choice myself, but can understand many being opposed to abortion. Donald Trump is being pro choice here - let the states decide, leave it up to the states. Going back to an 1864 law is insane, don’t let unelected judges decide this. Put it on the ballot, let the voters in each state decide. In some states you may end up having to cross the state line to get an abortion. Not the worst situation. A nationwide ban would be.

Elon is the definition of "too big to fail". The military industrial complex NEEDS him...PLUS he owns the "global public square" aka X.
Maybe we should have a cap on how influential ONE person is allowed to be?😂🤷♀️

holy fucking shit, the Colorado Supreme Court just threw Donald Trump off their state's 2024 ballot for being a fucking insurrectionist. Christmas came a week early
I predict this platform will collapse within the next 2 yrs.
With each passing month of Elon’s ownership of Twitter, it’s lost its foothold as the place where people discuss what’s happening.
It’s sad, I used to love this platform, but it just isn’t the same.

@autosinnovate I saw the piece on PBS and wanted to share a different perspective.
I agree that battery production is an issue, h/e the solution is to scale down our vehicles.
For the last decade I’ve used an e-bike as my primary driver, there’s great opportunity at that scale.
While some may see this shift to lighter vehicles as implausible, but what’s truly not possible is sustaining scale of cars and expect traffic to improve.
Pedal assist vehicles offer benefits that traditional cars can’t: less traffic, & a healthier life & environment.

The land dedicated to parking in the 9-county Bay Area is large enough to fit the city of San Francisco twice. If you built housing on that land with San Francisco's density, you could add 2 million more residents. With Barcelona's density, you could add 4.375 million more.
I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to @hasanminhaj’s week at @TheDailyShow. I’ve wanted this for him since the first time he was on it.

DeSantis banning AP African American Studies is a reminder of that old quote -- White privilege is when your history is the curriculum and every other history is an elective.

MLK said, “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression & cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” Jan 3rd, LA Police excessively tasered Keenan Anderson a 31-year-old black man, English teacher & father. He died 4 hours later. We must not be silent.

Aaron Swartz was who we are supposed to be. A personal hero to me.
And it is time for the Swartz Building at MIT. MIT needs a building named for Aaron. It needs to be a reminder that at MIT we celebrate the rule breakers for good. We don’t hunt them.

I’m on @Amtrak and I’m perplexed how they expect cyclists to get on and off… it’s a prerequisite that you take the front wheel off to stow it, but each stop is less than 2 minutes… do they want you to reassemble your bike while the train is arriving or have a nascar pit crew?
