$44 trillion crosses borders every year. Only 0.31% settles onchain.
To pay out in minutes, money transfer operators pre-fund cash in the destination country. That capital comes mostly from banks and their own balance sheets.
ZIG Markets connects onchain capital to that need. It funds a payout, is repaid at settlement, then funds the next.

Our Head of Strategy and BD, @ahm3dzig, spoke at the RWA Leaders Summit by @RWAlabs_ae in Dubai today on distribution, and the real economic impact tokenization has to deliver.
There is real opportunity in debt, the largest asset class in traditional finance, and in stablecoins, whose impact already deserves more credit than it gets.
Putting both to work onchain, and getting them to the people who buy them, is what we do every day.

On 6 October in Singapore, we marked our partnership with @worldlibertyfi in a curated room of more than 150 allocators, asset managers and founders.
Our aim is to take USD1 into payment finance, a market that has sat inside banks and specialist funds.
The first product is already live: @ConcreteXYZ's USD1 vault allocates into the ZIG Markets PayFi strategy, financing real payment flows. More to come.

Rafay: "What really starts the journey is that once you have the asset tokenized, what happens after it?"
John: "I think the role of finance in general doesn't finish because you bring something onchain. You can create a mechanism to provide liquidity onchain, and you can do the rest of the financial analysis, credit and underwriting, offchain, and have a perfectly sound system to do it."
