Gurdon has lifted the boil order over a week after the repairs to pipes. Arkansas Community Advocates and Arkansas ACP were able to provide fresh water to hundreds during this debacle. We aim to increase our capacity and means for aid in these types of infrastructural failings.

Total donated to Gurdon so far: 3,696 bottles of water 72 gallon jugs Boil order still in effect. Citizens are reporting no water pressure. One commenter reported rashes from trying to take a shower. The state has offered zero aid or resources.

The first donation of water is already almost gone so today ACP Arkansas donated another 1200 bottles of fresh water to Gurdon. A boil order in a town where many do not have means to boil water is a brutal indictment of our system.
