We love reading for pleasure. 📖
Amazed by our fantastic Year 5/6s and their ‘class write’ using @janeconsidine #thewritestuff based on their Dynamic Dynasties project! 👏
Some fabulous independent descriptive writing by our year 3s today! Inspired by The Explorer. @janeconsidine #thewritestuff making a great positive experience in school. We can’t wait to write and read more! 👏✍️
We are so proud of our beautiful Remembrance Day display. #LestWeForget
Our ks2 pupils have had a brilliant day @DerbyTheatre building props linked to their history projects, learning about the backstage jobs at the theatre and then putting on brilliant performances on the stage! Another great Arkwright Experience 👏
We’re so proud to share that we have been awarded the Silver Artsmark award for 2023. A huge shout out to our amazing Arts lead @mrsrowland_1992
Thank you for all your incredible work 👏👏
This past half term we've launched @janeconsidine's #thewritestuff across KS1 and KS2. Following some amazing writing based on Escape from Pompeii we have two STAR WRITERS of the half term. Well done to Archie and Millie in Y3/4 class. We love your #doublepagespread👏
What an achievement by our fantastic pupils 👏👏
I'm so proud of our school @arkwrightschool. We've been working so hard to improve our @TTRockStars speed. It's taken lots of effort since September but we've gone from 17th place (4.69secs) to 1st (2.39secs) in the nearby list.
@chrisdysonHT next step numberbond tables 🎸
We’re really proud of Archie’s (y4s) first attempt @janeconsidine write stuff. Great chatting and sentences based on Escape from Pompeii. Definitely demonstrating Arkwright Standards 👏
With our new class attendance award board up and running, we’re thrilled with our first day back attendance. Well done to EYFS and Year 3/4 👏
We’ll see who’s in for the reward on Friday!
At Arkwright we're passionate about our times tables and are thrilled with our progress! In just two terms we've halved our mean school speed on @TTRockStars. We're heading for top spot and now have classrooms full of Rock Legends and Rock Stars 🤘🎸
At Arkwright we're really proud to have taken part in the #showracismtheredcard school competition and support such a worthy cause.
We've had a great World Book day at Arkwright! Our day reading in our pj's was lots of fun. Our drop everything and read moments were wonderful to see! 📖 👏
