$SYF Quick pitch: bank that trades at 1.25x tangible book, has de minimis deposit flight risk, & targets (earns) a 28% return on tangible equity. While perennially discounted in relation to business quality, SYF is now exceptionally cheap (less than 5x earnings).

$TME is a long. At $7.86, Tencent Music has a $12.4B market cap & should earn $1.5B this year (8x EPS). With $6.9B of net cash & investments, you're paying less than 3.5x EV/EBIT for the core operating biz. 1/N

For a dominant, asset-light platform w/growing recurring revenue &increasing returns to scale, TME is absurdly cheap at 8x EPS & 3.4x EV/EBIT. Even if Music Related Services growth slows to mid-single digits, TME could still earn $2B by 2029 w/only 250bps of margin expansion.

At 12x EPS, TME is worth $15 by year-end 28, or 90% higher before any credit for its significant cash balance. Buybacks could drive further upside. If TME retires ~5% of shares annually, 2029 EPS could reach ~$1.47. At 12x EPS, that gets you to $17.60, a 31% IRR over 3 years.

$FICO mortgage scoring now has competition, but not before profit up ~10x in last 4 yrs (~90% incremental margins) with net originations down. Maybe CEO isn't the world's biggest moron. 🤷‍♂️
