A reminder that this bloke complaining about false identities calls himself Shadow Home Secretary in his bio on this very platform.
STATEMENT: Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police. Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison. They forged a passport. They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes. They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”. This is unprecedented. The police are now involved. Scrutiny of political parties is one thing. But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts. Here’s what happened 👇

Odd that Reform a year ago were the champions of free speech and a free press, yet now they are demanding the arrest of journalists who investigate them. Hypocritical, authoritarian and not going to boost their poll numbers.

🚨Manchester City’s Abu Dhabi owners paid the council just £750k a year for the stadium naming rights — then sold them on in a deal worth an estimated £10m a year. In a separate joint housing venture the same owners built nearly 1,800 homes on council land. The council has so far received only around £3m from that deal. Why did the council lock in such limited returns while the commercial value was so much higher? inews.co.uk/news/payment-man…

Hmmm… who to believe… Andy Burnham or the compulsive liar who got sacked twice for lying, lied to Parliament, lied to The Queen, cheated on two wives and ignored the Ministerial Code. Tricky one.

Nathan Gill - Reform's leader in Wales - is serving a ten-year prison sentence for accepting Russian bribes. And still Farage insists that that Russia doesn't attempt to influence British politics.

In 2015 David Cameron privatised the National Fostering Agency, it's now being paid £160m a year straight to a New Jersey tax haven to manage the fostering of just 2,616 children A tax free profit of £61,000 per child, and they don't even provide any care, that's the fosters job

The Tories closed 23 prisons. You’d think Kuenssberg might mention that. Silence. She doesn’t want to jeopardise her £400k Robbie Gibb approved salary. #bbclaurak

Reminder that City already went to the High Court (in 2021) to try and claim that the PL had no authority to pursue the case and raise issues of bias and partiality. The High Court threw it out.

This view that City made the league more competitive is… the opposite of the truth. It’s the most dominant spell ever seen in England: - 100 and 98 points - two trebles - four in a row None of these things had ever been done before

Bearing in mind they’ve almost tanked both Durham and Kent in 100 days, the chances aren’t looking good.
Only a Reform Government can save Britain in 100 days. 🇬🇧

Here's the MoS story as it appears in the paper. And to be clear, it was a minority section of Man City's support who invoked Helen's death in their attacks against me. I rarely even referred to her illness before she died.
The human cost of reporting on Man City’s cheating for 15 years. It’s on the Mail website today and will be in the MoS paper tomorrow (Sunday) but they backed my reporting 100%. That reporting continues on my Substack. Google it for details. dailymail.com/sport/football…

If this whole exercise by the UAE was to build its reputation, enhance its status and make it look like an attractive place to invest in or partner up with surely the City case has now made that an abject, and very costly, failure. Nation states simply should not own clubs

A country virtually blackmailing another country because they got caught cheating in sport. This punishment should also result in the end of state ownership in the premier league.
Exclusive with @AlexDooler @DNair5 UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
