Bond market up means yields down. Yields have peaked for the cycle & headed lower & ultimately to all time lows below 2020.
$TLT
Gotta dump that junk as always. admittedly, it felt a bit different today for a few reasons. but it's supposed to make you feel like this time is different.
how hard is it to understand correlation to the indices, relative strength. this is how you avoid financial ruin on junk like $TLT
30 minutes of euphoria for $TLT bagholders. Imagine the long faces lol. You have to learn, it's always just another pump and dump.
How bad it could get for $TLT?
speculative tech rallies: down
high indices correlation: down
infinite gov debt: down
escalation of war in iran: down
any oil disruptions: down
refusal of zirp boys to come clean still: down
fintwit bagholders desperate for a bounce: down
$TLT to make fresh lows into the 70s overnight with Iran escalation
They obviously don't want the war to end. We have unlimited JDAMs and Israel does too. F35s, F22s, Apaches, Cobras.
It's more profitable to keep the war going.
Another fantastic reason $TLT is fucked is because the correlation to s&p futures is far too high. Imo, any sustained move higher in the short term would at least require relative strength of any sort, or any timeframe. The inverse correlation is also obviously missing.
