do just wonder what Russoβs breaking point is. Sheβs built her brand, sheβs fully established herself as a name & face of not just womenβs football but English football as a whole. We need her far more than she needs us right now.
Starts CF for anyone outside maybe Barça & City.
And even then sheβs 2/3 years younger than Pajor & Shaw, if you were around her surely youβd be telling her to go build up that trophy cabinet so it matches the talent she has.
Kane comparisons are endless, just how he left failure to be rated correctly, why shouldnβt she?
Right now, sure you can say sheβs the weak linkβ¦ but sheβs being hung out to dry. Thatβs not her game, and thereβs also no midfielders in our squad that want to defend. Weβve stacked ourselves full of offensive-minded 8s and told them to go figure it out themselves.
Replying to @ArsenalRefresh @ItsMutis
She Is The Weaklimk always out of position & cannot make The right pass, also She doesn't want to defend
donβt really have anything bad to say about the players today, think they did their best with what they could.
No long lasting change will occur until those at the top are gone, but this entire coaching staff needs gutting now. Not highlighting the best of our squad in any way.
these coaches piss me off man⦠sat there looking at your watch for time left⦠play your players in their positions and you might not have to throw the kitchen sink at teams.
Holmberg literally could not do anymore with the minutes sheβs given and yet she still canβt see the pitch at a time like this.
This is horrific.
70th minute and we just subbed off our best winger (who was playing CF) so that our best CF (who was playing 10) can be in her natural position, but now our best winger is off the pitch having played 0 mins as a winger.
8th in the table and could go further down today still.
Wendie Renard called Russo the best player sheβs played against and ever since RenΓ©e has moved her into midfield.
Same feeling as midweek, very much like the lineup on paper but not quite as much if 3/4 of the attack arenβt playing in their better-suited positions.
Obviously if itβs a comfortable win I canβt complain, just feels weβre wasting time waiting to be reminded why Less ainβt a 10.

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldnβt have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didnβt. He doesnβt stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC
Quick bit on this as I know it doesnβt make senseπfeel free to ignore
How is it the first time waking up feeling like Ona Batlle plays for my football club? Sheβs been in the building for over 3 months. How are our coaches only now seeing what has been staring them in the face?
All in all of course Iβm not asking RenΓ©e to go after a 3-0 win. I loved a lot of our football yesterday, much of it the best weβve played this season (not hard) but I do think thereβs room for criticism in regard to time taken to correct obv issues/skepticism about overthinking.
