There isn't really a problem with getting an item from winning in a dev lobby. Unless that item is a colored variant of a $10k item, the most valuable in the game. Honestly love this method. Gets people to grind the natural way. Which color Alpha Boost are they droping next 👀

We want this to be a fun reward that anyone can earn, so Dev Boost is now a Free Tier 99 reward in the Season 24 Rocket Pass. Dev Boost is no longer granted by winning with or against a developer.

I support physical media. I support gameplay before pre-orders. But a bloke pumping a crypto coin (a non-physical currency) over other people's work, and spoiling a surprise for millions of fans isn't the answer. There is a correct way to protest against this kind of stuff, and this isn't it.
