We confirm and characterize TIC 241249530 b, a warm Jupiter on an eccentric & retrograde orbit, and we show that it is en route to becoming a hot Jupiter ⤵️

In the first paper – which is almost completely unrelated to my thesis – we confirm a new highly eccentric warm Jupiter, TOI-4127 b, using RVs from @NEID_at_WIYN and SOPHIE. Paper link here: arxiv.org/abs/2303.14570

This is my first (!) exoplanet discovery and the first result from my ongoing warm Jupiter RV follow program with NEID in collaboration with the TESS single-transit team. I expect to have some even more exciting results from this program in the near (?) future, so stay tuned!
I have lots of people to thank of course, including the TESS single-transit lead @cabridelle and all the NEID folks, but I especially appreciate how gracious the SOPHIE team has been in sharing their data for this discovery paper.
