The absolute irony of Turkish nationalists mocking ancient Chinese culture, completely oblivious to the fact that modern Turkish was heavily shaped and modernized by Agop Dilaçar—an Armenian linguist. You can't make this up.
Hagop Martayan, or Agop Dilaçar, was the first Secretary General and head specialist of the state-funded Turkish Language Institution (TDK) founded in 1932 in Ankara.
He devoted most of his life and his entire career to developing the Turkish language.
Upon his death, however, he was treated like a second-class citizen without a name. The TDK, for which he had toiled for decades, published a note of condolence on newspapers in which his full Armenian name was censored, written as “A. Dilaçar.”

Την ίδια στιγμή, η σημερινή εξέλιξη συμβάλει καθοριστικά στην περαιτέρω ενίσχυση της οικονομίας μας, δημιουργώντας ακόμη περισσότερες δυνατότητες στο κράτος για επενδύσεις σε πολιτικές που βελτιώνουν την καθημερινότητα και την ποιότητα ζωής των πολιτών.
Από την πρώτη στιγμή θέσαμε ως στρατηγική μας επιδίωξη την αξιοποίηση των συγκριτικών πλεονεκτημάτων της χώρας μας και την ενίσχυση όλων των παραγόντων ισχύος της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.
