If this were true (it's not), birthright Americans only make up 26.6% of NHL players. Canadians make up 42.3%. All other nationalities combined make up 29.5% of the league

So the linked post isn't abelist because it doesn't disparage disabled people. Folks in similar circumstances would seek prosthetic or surgical options after becoming an amputee. A urostomy isn't everyone's cup of tea, & such an injury would end marriages.
