We love working with #rammedearth, it's such a powerful but gentle material. Our #stablisedrammedearth are built faster than bricks, are load-bearing, and looks really sleek. This project is being built by our partner @earth_structures_group in Australia.
An installation picture of the compact #TreeWell biological #wastewatertreatment system, before the plants are added in the second tank (above ground). One system consists of two tanks, each 2m diameter, which treats wastewater for 125 people.
#rammedearth samples made for @NiroxFoundation, requested by #artists for the annual Winter Exhibition that opens for the public in a few weeks time. #Niroxfoundation #Niroxsculpturepark
#TreeWell is a sludge-free #wastewater treatment system based on #biomimcry: mimicking nature's decomposition and purification processes using dynamic flow and microbial food webs. This compacted system treats wastewater for 125 people.
Is that garden really a #wastewatertreatment system? Yes, and it's also #sludgefree. What you see is the second treatment tank, the only visible component of #TreeWell. The first tank is under ground. We deliver and install TreeWell across Africa for your project, big or small.

Barbara Holtman - Embrace the complexity, collaborate and engage with the different professions included in a Green Building project. Doing that, you'll crack the code to these 48 petals and make #GreenBuildings the norm rather than an "elite addon" #RaceToZero #gbcsa2018 @GBCSA – at Cape Town, South Africa
Rob Peña on the case of the Bullitt Centre, a #LivingBuildingChallenge building. Image comparing it with a "normal" building. He ended with saying that, to create such a high-performing building, you need a strong and engaged community. #RaceToZero #gbcsa2018 @GBCSA – at Cape Town, South Africa
