Hello all. If you’re a young lawyer from Cape Coast (that is, you have a parent or a grandparent from Cape Coast) and you were called to the Ghana Bar between 2024 - 2026, please send me a DM for a discussion. Young means at least below age 40!

There's so much history in most buildings in Cape Coast. I loved the place the last time I visited
Prospect Painting Press, recognized as one of the first newspaper printing establishments in Cape Coast, ceased its operations in the 1970s following the military coup. 🇬🇭

Earlier this year, someone was holding a placard with my name on it, attacking me for saying, “The effects of galamsey have no party colours.”
Okayakyie Africa also did a whole video on this same statement.
But you see I stand 💯 by it because it’s true.
You cannot threaten me with the truth.
Polluted water doesn’t check your party membership before poisoning you, neither do the health consequences.
The difference between us is that, your issue isn’t that our waters are dirty, it isn’t that people whose lives depend on those waters are being exposed to harm; it isn’t even the consequences for our children and generations to come.
Your issue is finding ways to score political points.
Some of you spent years attacking anyone who spoke against galamsey.
The only voice you had on the subject was the one you used to silence others.
Now you’ve suddenly found your voice, congratulations, we need to keep it going.
But sadly once again you’re not speaking on what’s happening to our waters, you’re still attacking others for daring to speak on it before.
Pause.
Does that even make sense to you.
Don’t worry when we stand in line to queue for water, they will divide us into party colours.
Just remember that even if your water is cleaner, it’s still DIRTY water.
More on the abandoned library in Fort William. I heard that they had to close because the kids reported seeing spirits there...
Sad state of the old library at Fort William in Anomabo being neglected and left to decay.
We have a maintenance problem...
"Forward Ever, Backward Never" Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President & a key figure in the African independence movement used this phrase to inspire Ghanaians and Africans at large to stay committed to self-governance, economic independence, and progress 🇬🇭
