Guys I just want Broken Dolls to be out in the world 😭 This book means everything to me
A toy dinosaur’s technically a doll so I assume they mean a real Dino & IDK, I guess maybe they want to show the dinos dolls & tell them to go play? In which case a 50/50 class split makes sense, I guess?
Friends, I'm not deleting my account here but I've deleted the app, so I won't be around as much. Come find me in the 🔵place - or the ⏰app! Or let me know here if you can find you there (I'll check back in). I don't want to lose my brilliant bookish community!

Writers, I long to find a spectacular debut YA author to invite onto my list! I love romantasy, fantasy, fairy/folktale retellings, thrillers & anything with an unreliable narrator! If you write this, hit me up - see skylark-literary.com for submission guidelines. 😊♥️ #MSWL

Still rooting for him.
@EoinColfer I just purchased the first Artemis Fowl book on my Kindle after a child told me, "He's an arch-villain, but you can't help rooting for him."

If you like writers as much as you like the books they write, and if you think minority kids deserve to see themselves repped in books, please put in a request for Being Ace at your local library
Introduced my 11yo to the Pomodoro Technique (specifically the kitty timer @YAundermyskin uses in her Youtube sprints). The absolute joy in the room as she vanished into her imagination, filling pages and completely ignoring her inner critic😍 A nice reminder of why we all write!

Will this week be the week I get to show you the cover of my sleep-deprived new mum losing the absolute plot thriller out in February? I THINK SO (I mean, I don't 100% know but I HOPE so)!
Anyone know a word for excited-but-devastated? Like when @AnnSeiLin1’s new fantasy adventure - Rebel Dawn - lands on your doorstep and you can’t wait to read it, but also it’s final book in her amazing Rebel Trilogy and you’re not remotely ready to say goodbye to Kurara’s world😭
Eek! So I’ve been on a “weight loss journey” and promised myself when I’d lost 60lbs I could cut my hair & dye it blue like I keep saying I will. Guess which milestone I hit today?? I don’t think I’m brave enough to do it though 😱

Ok. Baby Jean with baby beans
ALT an extremely small tortoiseshell kitten. One yellow furry hind foot is lifted to show her tiny pink toe beans
@JortsTheCat if you happen to have any more tiny Jean content everyone's mental health would appreciate it 😬😬😬

Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.
