Missing from all the Narnia discussions is that there’s an amazing Narnia adaptation that’s already been created and just needs the Lewis Estate’s approval. Stop giving us Narnia movies and publish The Stone Table!
Really weird that we’re rewriting a literal child predator into a sympathetic character.

Daniel Craig is the magician of The Magician's Nephew in Greta Gerwig's Narnia.
“He gets overexcited about what could be," Craig tells Empire of the scheming sorcerer, "and therefore overlooks the people around him.”

The folks that proclaim “it’s just a fictional character from
a kids book” are the same people who have been commandeering every cartoon, book, and live action remake for their own ideological purposes for the last 20 years.
This trailer for the Magician’s Nephew has been 10x’d this week. My guess is this is the sort of film fans were expecting.

When rumors of a female Aslan surfaced a while back, I made this video. With the confirmation of Meryl Streep as Aslan, this video seems as important as ever.

This whole new Aslan picture with the scaly face is seriously triggering my trypophobia. I’ve been waiting for this for five years, and I can’t even bear to look at it.

I spent yesterday soaking in this new logo. As a former graphic designer I can tell you that this logo reveals more about the upcoming film than any details so far. Hopefully I’ll make a video about it this week!
This is the most logical explanation of the sudden and obvious astroturfed AI doomsday narrative.
Understand what is happening with AI here and why it has more to do with amassing political power than it does computing power.
If you look back at the last 100 years in America, we have moved through 4 distinct eras of communication which each defined the types of politicians we elected.
The early 1900’s were still dominated by print, followed by radio, then broadcast television, followed by 24/7 cable news, and then the Internet and social media.
FDR was the quintessential radio president via his fireside chats. It is no accident that JFK was elected at the dawn of the broadcast television age. Desert Storm introduced us to the age of 24/7 cable news, which brought us Clinton and then Bush. Obama and Trump capitalized on the new world of the Internet and social media, which was also the only media vector which could have spread the COVID panic which elected Joe Biden.
So where are we right now? I would argue that the confluence of mass global censorship erected at the height of the COVID panic and the rise of AI have a created a new era of mass media: we have now entered the Algorithm era.
The print era gave us leaders who wrote well. The radio era gave us leaders who sounded strong. The TV era gave us leaders who looked good. The Internet and social media era gave us leaders who went viral.
The Algorithm era will give us something quite different: politicians who cater to the whims of the oligarchs who own the computing power and control the algorithm. This is why they freaked out when Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into X.
Elon broke the social media cartel and rendered it obsolete. Google’s censorship of search results and Facebook’s censorship of political commentary weren’t nearly as powerful in a world where you could say what you want and get paid for it on X.
Countries will now be ruled by whoever controls the Algorithm, because the person who controls the Algorithm controls everything you see. And with the rise of AI, control of the Algorithm will soon hinge on control of computing power and capacity.
Dario and his AI buddies want to be the only ones in control. They hate open source, because that is a threat to their control. The solution? Cook up doomsday AI scenarios, demand regulation, and watch as the government enforces an AI cartel run entirely by Dario and his friends. That is exactly what we are witnessing right now. Except it’s not just about control of AI. It’s about using AI to control the world. That is what’s at stake right now.
Another fascinating aspect of the various mass media eras is how much more compressed each new one is.
The world started with person to person oral communication. That lasted for thousands of years. The printing press and mass written media reigned for 400+ years. Radio dominated for 40 years. Broadcast TV and cable news controlled the conversation for 30 years. Then the Internet and social media were on top for maybe 20 years. And here we are now at the dawn of the AI Algorithm age.
How long will it last? And what will come next?

Now we're having AI defend our positions on theology...aside from the AI sycophancy problem, letting AI think for us with regard to how we should be reading Scripture is a bad idea. This needs to stop.

This is simply a lexical fallacy.
You cannot determine the meaning of a theological term by looking up one word in the dictionary and importing every possible synonym into the term.
“Total depravity” has a defined theological meaning. “Total” refers to the extent of sin’s corruption. It reaches every faculty of man, mind, will, affections, and body. It does not mean the degree of corruption is as great as it could possibly be.
This distinction is centuries old. Calvinists are not suddenly redefining words to escape your argument.
Substituting “absolute” for “total” does nothing to address the doctrine itself.
Before debating whether total depravity is biblical, you first have to represent what total depravity actually teaches.
I’ve also noticed this irrational anti-AI hysteria that has risen up out of nowhere. I assumed it was the latest virtue-signaling trend (which it is) but didn’t consider the fact that it probably was never organic. These things never are.
Whenever the EU issues, innovation-crushing mandates that affect the entire world, the US should counter with mandates that expressly require opt-out options for the U.S.
Hey @YouTube @YouTubeCreators as a content creator and parent this is terrifying. “Made for kids” is supposed to mean verified safe. It should NEVER be a fallback decision in the event of a dispute. Especially when the creator is explicitly saying it is not made for kids.
The geniuses at @YouTube have decided that our latest episode of Bridge Kids will only be set as "for kids" and that their decision is final. They claim a real human reviewed the video and made this decision too!
Here is what a real human at YT thinks a video for kids looks like

As an American, it infuriates me that Congress can spend time on this but not legislation for a balanced budget, energy independence, lowering the debt ceiling, reducing our taxes, abolishing abortion, reforming the education system, and securing our supply chains.
The US House has voted to pass a measure to enact year-round Daylight Saving Time across the country, springing Congress forward into an issue that has long stumped lawmakers and spurred impassioned pleas by parents, farmers and others with sharply divergent views. It will now head to the Senate for approval before going to the president for his signature — though its chances in the upper chamber remain unclear. cnn.it/4pom6fY

Standard Time vs Daylight Saving Time is an IQ test.
The US House of Representatives just failed it.

Moms. We want permanent standard time, yes? Anyone who wants DST plays golf and doesn’t give a hoot about families. They don’t have a toddler to get to sleep while it’s still light!
We already tried it in 1972. Everyone hated it. Lasted what, 3 months?
Hard to believe a pastor and pollster would use phrase “literally true” in a poll. Meaning “fully true” or “Contains no symbolism?” Take a single hermeneutics class and you’d say “not literally true.” And so would
unbelievers. It lumps extreme opposites into the same group.
It so obviously unconstitutional, I’m not sure which possibility is worse:
1. @LouisvilleMayor was too dumb to know
2. He knew and thought he’d win anyway
3. He knew he’d lose but was willing to waste taxpayers hard earned money for political posturing.
Louisville spent a fortune to force Chelsey Nelson to photograph same sex marriages under its nondiscrimination laws. When combined with the litigation costs, the case likely cost the city and the courts millions to deny protected constitutional rights. jonathanturley.org/2026/03/2…
