We kicked off the first Insurance Committee Hearing of the 2025 #CALeg session with the presentation of AB 226 (Calderon & Alvarez)! This bill authorizes the FAIR Plan to request bonds to address financial challenges following major catastrophes, such as the recent LA County

Our @assemblyfellows, Kayla Daniels had a significant milestone—she introduced her first bill, AB 1003!
AB 1003 builds on my previous legislation, AB 619, to better protect the lung health of our communities following wildfires.
