For everyone saying “marijuana is legal” in Virginia consider this.
The law still remains that distributing more than five pounds of marijuana is a felony punishable by imprisonment of not less than five nor more than 30 years. 18.2-248.1 Va Code. Distribution of marijuana is also a felony under 21 USC 841.
The indictment against the Lucas family indicates, among many other things, in 2022 Louise Lucas wrote a check for 3-5 pounds of marijuana to her cannabis business.
So yes… the Feds do have a case if these facts can be proven - she’s going to be convicted of distribution. Any defense lawyer will say this - they don’t have to prove 100% of the indictment. This part of the indictment seems to be devastating.
But the bigger issues now loom - the members of the cannibas commission that were taking orders from Lucas (allegedly) on who gets a license and who doesn’t have liability. The legislators that knew of this and participated have liability. The Portsmouth Commonwealth Attorney who let all of this happen under her watch could be implicated.
Lucas can act all tough - but in the end - she will sing like a canary to save her hide - and everyone in her orbit is going to get sucked in.
If you are interested in what the Louis Lucas indictment is about - I discuss the corruption allegations. Three minute listen and you will be up to speed.
@jfradioshow
Can you imagine someone going through security with $100k at the General Assembly building to pay the leader of the Senate in her legislative office so he could get on the list to get a retail cannabis license?
Cash picture is an illustration of what $100k looks like in $100/bills.
The Lucas case is not about pot. It’s about public corruption. Read this part of the indictment.
The same $100,000 figure. A striking pay-to-play comparison. Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich held up horse-racing legislation while trying to obtain $100,000 in campaign contributions. That scheme was among the corruption offenses for which he received 14 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON.
Now, prosecutors allege Louise Lucas accepted $100,000 in FBI-supplied money, described as repayment of an investment, in exchange for continuing to work to steer a marijuana license to the payer.
Campaign contributions in one case. An alleged investment repayment in the other. The central accusation is similar: exchanging official action for a financial benefit.
Before anyone dismisses Louise Lucas’s indictment as another “Donald Trump political prosecution,” read it.
This is a detailed, 45-page federal indictment bearing the names of career federal prosecutors Eric Hurt and Brian Samuels. It contains specific dates, financial transactions, text messages, and alleged conversations.
An indictment is NOT a finding of guilt. Lucas and the other defendants are presumed innocent, and prosecutors must prove their charges beyond a reasonable doubt. But this is a very serious charging document.
Among its allegations:
• $100,000 supplied by the FBI: Prosecutors allege Lucas accepted the money at her legislative office in Richmond as a partial repayment connected to a marijuana business investment. The indictment separately alleges that repayment was exchanged for her continued work to steer a license. Pages 26 and 34.
• Legislation and personal profit: Prosecutors allege she discussed pending marijuana legislation, a license for a co-conspirator, and sharing the proceeds, saying: “this is our last chance at generational wealth . . .. I’ve got too old to not be greedy.” Page 27.
• Licensing leverage: Prosecutors allege she told legislators they were trying to disqualify a prospective applicant until he repaid her money. Page 28.
• An alleged admission: The indictment attributes to Lucas a statement acknowledging that her earlier conduct was illegal, during a discussion about legislation making it legal. Pages 27–28.
• Large-scale marijuana trafficking: The indictment charges a conspiracy involving at least 100 kilograms of marijuana, along with racketeering, money laundering, and honest-services fraud.
Calling it political does not answer those allegations. They deserve scrutiny, and the defendants deserve a fair trial.

Remember that time she sued me for $20 million and lost?
Karma is a bitch... Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Step 1 - get convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 1998
Step 2 - Die in 2024
Step 3 Governor completes review of the particulars of the case in August 2026.
Step 4 - reviewing the case does not include googling his name, checking govt death records or obituaries
Step 5 - Gov Restores civil rights in August 2026.
What a clown show.
I break down the Virginia Clean Economy Act. If you would like a Ted Talk on why your power bill is so high and why it’s only going to get worse - listen here:

A scathing new House Judiciary staff report alleges Fairfax prosecutor Steve Descano gave noncitizen defendants preferential treatment to avoid immigration consequences—and contradicted his testimony to Congress about who qualified.
It also reports that Sheriff Stacey Kincaid’s office declined 1,670 ICE detainers from 2023–2025.
This guy is up for reelection. Wouldn’t surprise me if Fairfaz reelects him.

This camera ticket lists a Ford pickup truck. The photo shows a Mercedes SUV.
But don’t worry—a sworn officer “reviewed” the evidence before issuing it.
Yeah, right.
Alexandria created a false summons with a false certification. I will pay 10:1 odds that the prosecutor doesn’t hold anyone accountable for this.
Ask yourself a serious question before voting
Which American political party aligns more with France?
We lived under 4 years of our southern border looking like a Walmart on Black Friday with Biden. It’s now secure and orderly under Trump. That matters.
Don’t be like France. Voting for socialist open border Democrats takes this county on a predictable path of “peaceful student protests” and internal destruction.
The qualifications to be Attorney General of Virginia, apparently:
You must have an office that misspells “Virginia,” “Attorney” and “Senator.”
You must send texts fantasizing about shooting a political adversary—and write about going to opponents’ funerals to piss on their graves.
You wish for your political adversaries children to die in their mother’s arms.
You must get convicted of reckless driving after doing 116 mph in a 70-mph zone. Then submit 500 hours of work for your own political action committee as “community service” to help mitigate your punishment.
You must suffer high-profile courtroom setbacks defending the Democrats’ redistricting scheme and gun restrictions—then keep promising the next appeal will fix everything.
You must celebrate winning a case preserving in-state tuition eligibility for students here illegally. Meanwhile, Virginians are asking why the governor’s administration sent voting-rights restoration letters to dead people.
You must defend Virginia’s attempt to tell federal law-enforcement officers whether they can wear masks—and have a federal judge block enforcement while the case proceeds.
Quite a résumé for the Commonwealth’s chief law-enforcement officer.
Brigitte Macron was a married teacher when she met Emmanuel Macron, her 15-year-old student. She later divorced her husband and married him. Today, she is 73 and he is 48—nearly 25 years apart.
Now he leads France, and people celebrate their story as romantic. An adult teacher. A teenage student. Reverse the sexes and tell me everyone would applaud.
You wonder why France is screwed up? Look to the grandmother standing next to the 48 year old leader of France.
And whenever protests turn into arson and destruction, spare us the “peaceful protest” excuse. Liberals sold this to the public in Richmond in 2020 - it was a box of crap then and it is the same recycled crap now.
The Trump coin is the latest way to troll the left, with the U.S. Treasurer encouraging Americans to spend them at “liberal coffee shops.”
But can a coffee shop legally refuse one?
Under federal law, yes. Being “legal tender” does not require a private business to accept a particular bill or coin for a retail purchase. A shop can accept a $1 bill and refuse a Trump $1 coin.
State law can change the answer. New York requires covered businesses to accept cash, including U.S. coins, subject to certain exceptions. Virginia has no comparable requirement.
Virginia’s HB 984 would have required businesses to accept cash for retail purchases. It failed this year and is not law.
So a liberal coffee shop in Virginia can generally say, “We don’t accept Trump coins.”
In New York, that refusal could cost the shop more than the coffee.
I predicted earlier this week she would be out by Friday. I need to go buy some power ball numbers!!
I’m glad this liar js gone. Back to California where you can answer to the California bar for your false statements that you “practiced law in China” or were “general counsel” for a company.
Grifter….
VIRGINIA'S ATTORNEY GENERAL IS PREPARING FOR A SHOWDOWN WITH FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ON ELECTION DAY.
The Virginia's Attorney General and Department of Elections issued a remarkable 10-page directive to election officials.
Here's what they're being told:
Pages 4–5: Local registrars can deny ordinary DOJ election monitors access to polling locations.
Page 7: Election officials should ask federal agents to leave polling locations and contact local police.
Page 7: Document federal agents' badge numbers, weapons, vehicles, and movements. Collect complaints from voters who say federal agents frighten them.
Pages 8–9: Consult attorneys about challenging federal subpoenas seeking election materials.
Page 3: And while all this is happening, Virginia has eliminated the ability to challenge a voter's qualifications at the polling place.
Think about what we're witnessing.
The Attorney General is preparing election officials to scrutinize federal law enforcement while Virginia has eliminated a longstanding Election Day safeguard for questioning voter eligibility.
The bulletin identifies no specific planned unlawful federal operation in Virginia. Federal law enforcement has legitimate authority to enforce federal election laws. State officials cannot override that authority simply because they dislike federal involvement.
So what exactly is the Attorney General afraid federal investigators might discover? And why is the Commonwealth treating federal election oversight as a threat rather than an opportunity to demonstrate election integrity?
