!!!! First day of our new podcast, America Actually (w/ Astead Herndon). It's going to be about the upcoming elections and America's road to a post-Trump future.
But as we got started I wanted to write something about why I landed on that theme and what I saw as the our mission in a landscape of a lot of media choices
This weekās newsletter: I wrote about the GOPs strategy of Islamophobia has been aided by Democrats and the press. And I find the lack of pushback not only immoral but shortsighted.
We either all have a place in democracy or we donāt. And the forces seeking to marginalize their place in the American project will likely expand to others
