I strongly disagree, I actually think this is one of the highest compliments Jackie gives any of them. She is terrified of what other people think of her to the point shes shoved herself into a prison of expectations that is poisoning everhthing she actually cares about.

Feel the need to remind people that the ending of YJs isnt s4e10, its been playing out in front of you since s1e1. Thats what the adult timeline is. Lottie and Nat and Vans stories ended in s2 and 3 and whats left is how they effected the others. Sorry but Mel is part of that.
