This really is a huge issue and we had all better wake up to the implications of antibiotic misuse and over prescribing. These are prescription only products and should only be dispensed after consultation with a health professional. #LiveWell @MyDawaApp
England's Chief Medical Officer, Dame Sally Davies, warns that antibiotic resistance "could kill us before climate change does".
She wants investment into new drugs and less 'misuse of the antibiotics we already have'.
