Holy crap. Adding utility to staked HYPE/kHYPE is insane. It’s awesome, flipping traditional PoS on its head essentially. Capital allocation via emissions routing similiar to a ve3 dex via voting for staked assets is awesome I hope I’m understanding this correctly. @AtlasSowed check it

I'm sorry - I can't hold back. Telling people "you don't need to work hard anymore just buy BTC" - or even worse, "... just buy my stock" is downright irresponsible. I know a lot of self-made rich people and they all have one thing in common - at some point (if not all points) of their lives they worked their asses off. And BTW - hard work alone doesn't guarantee you anything either. @chameleon_jeff works his ass off! @sershokunin works his ass off! @HypeStrat @HyperliquidX

> Paradigm asked me to OTC some $HYPE. Fred Ehrsam sounded stressed. Said the desks are completely dry and clients keep asking for exposure. He paused for a second and whispered: “we should’ve bought more at $12.” > Multicoin partners allegedly asked Kyle why they owned 47 different governance tokens but no $HYPE for so long. Nobody has seen him since. Insider sources claim Multicoin’s investment process now starts with one question: “What would Kyle do?” Then they do the opposite. > Sequoia called me today at 3am asking if I’d lend them some $HYPE liquidity. Apparently every founder in crypto suddenly became a Hyperliquid maxi overnight. The partner on the phone sounded exhausted. He got hundreds of emails saying ”Hyperliquid”. > a16z begged me to unlock some spot $HYPE. They said every dip gets bought instantly and their traders can’t source enough inventory anymore. Chris Dixon asked me what’s the best way to farm a potential s3. I answered that they get a multiplier if they send their spot hype to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000. > Jump Trading offered me “strategic partnership opportunities” if I’d part ways with my $HYPE bag. I said no. They immediately increased the bid. > Goldman Sachs heard the rumours that their SpaceX IPO deal will be frontrun by Hyperliquid traders. They asked if my $HYPE position was “negotiable.” I told them it depends. They asked what price. I said: “higher.” > Jane Street tried to calculate fair value for $HYPE. They asked me what’s the underlying of a Hyperliquid? After 14 spreadsheets and 3 models they concluded: “there’s not enough spot available.” > BlackRock called asking for “just a small allocation.” They said pension funds are suddenly asking about Hyperliquid during meetings. One analyst reportedly called it “the AWS of liquidity.” I told them to think bigger. It’s the House of all finance. Hyperliquid

I just spoke with Charles Schwab about the @SpaceX IPO. Schwab is one of a handful of brokerages selected by SpaceX to allocate IPO shares to retail investors. If you have an account with Schwab, here’s how to prepare for the SpaceX IPO: 1) You first need to opt into IPOs from the Trade > IPOs page on Schwab's website. 2) After you've opted in and the IPO shows on the page, you can submit an Indication of Interest. The indication of interest will be able to be submitted when the Roadshow period begins for the stock. This is currently expected to be early June. 3) You need to have minimum $100,000 in total balance to be eligible to participate in the SpaceX IPO share allocation. Schwab still doesn't know how many shares will be allocated to their brokerage at this point since SpaceX will be the one to decide that in the coming weeks. Just be prepared to check back on the IPO section of Schwab's website. Additional info will come later. Lastly, don’t be surprised if you receive fewer IPO shares than you requested (if any at all). Demand for the limited number of available IPO shares will almost certainly be extremely high, and these participating brokerages will only get a certain sized allocation of shares to offer to retail investors, so it'll likely be tough to accommodate everyone. The best thing you can do is to just be prepared. Note: SpaceX specifically stated in their S-1 filing that any purchase of their Class A common stock in this offering through these platforms will be at the same IPO price, and at the same time, as any other purchases in this offering, including purchases by institutions and other large investors, which means any retail investors that are lucky enough to get allocated some SpaceX IPO shares will pay the same price as the big guys.

$HYPE up 15% after Coinbase announced it will become Hyperliquid's official USDC treasury deployer under AQAv2, sharing the vast majority of reserve yield back to the protocol. USDC supply on Hyperliquid sits near $5B, roughly 2x YoY, while native stablecoin USDH gets sunset eight months after launch. Coinbase and Circle both staking HYPE to activate the framework — Circle adding 500K toward validator status. Tradeable with up to 10x leverage. Hyperliquid.

$NVDA +5.96% to $207.90 after NVIDIA announced a multiyear pact with Corning to scale U.S. optical manufacturing for AI, with rights to invest up to $3.2B in GLW via warrants on 15M shares at a $180 strike plus a $500M pre-funded warrant. The deal funds three new fiber factories in NC and Texas and a 10x ramp in U.S. optical connectivity capacity — the supply-chain piece needed to keep clearing the next leg of hyperscaler GPU buildouts. Reverses the OpenAI-revenue capex scare from nine sessions ago in a single announcement. Tradeable with up to 20x leverage. Hyperliquid.

Thanks @domcooke for spending months on researching and writing this piece. Einstein once said, "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." By that measure, Dom has blown me away with how deeply he came to understand Hyperliquid and what we're all building together. When someone asks what "housing all of finance" means, I'm proud to point them to this piece. I hope readers appreciate just how much Dom and his team put into their work. It reflects the thoughtful craft that is in Hyperliquid's DNA. Special thanks to @patrick_oshag for taking a bet on Hyperliquid's story.
This is the story of Hyperliquid, the most profitable startup per employee on earth, told from a guarded office in Singapore. Last year, its team of 11 generated $900 million in profit. It's 3 years old, has never taken a dollar of venture capital, and is beginning to change how century-old markets work. Its founder, Jeffrey Yan (@chameleon_jeff), had never taken a physics class when he picked up a textbook at 16. Two years later, he won gold at the International Physics Olympiad. In 2019, he started trading with $10,000 from a living room in Puerto Rico—working off a television because he didn't own a monitor. Within 3 years, he was running one of the largest anonymous crypto trading firms. Then he shut it down. Yan was rich and free, but he had spent years inside crypto, watching it betray itself. Bitcoin's central premise was decentralization. Yet the biggest exchanges were centralized. Crypto kept reintroducing the dependence on trust it was built to eliminate. He set out to create what should have existed. Hyperliquid is a blockchain with a trading exchange on top, and anyone can build on it. Yan's vision is to house all of finance. In 3 years, it has done over $4 trillion in volume. And in the past few months, it has begun to outgrow crypto. Markets for oil, silver, and the S&P 500 now trade on Hyperliquid around the clock, weekends included, and are growing roughly 40% week on week. When the US and Israel bombed Iran on a Saturday in February, Hyperliquid was the venue traders turned to. Hyperliquid's success has cost Yan his freedom. He works out of a secret office in Singapore and cannot travel without two bodyguards. Even the team's housekeeper doesn't know what they do. In January, @domcooke spent a week at their office. Read his profile on Yan and @HyperliquidX below.

I extended my research and mapped every @Polymarket wallet to @HyperliquidX Out of 3 million PM users, 100,693 are also active on Hyperliquid. That’s only 3.3% of users. But those 100k wallets generate ~12% of all Polymarket volume, $6.1 billion in trades. From the other side: 1 in 8 Hyperliquid users has a Polymarket account. Bottom line: the most active capital in prediction markets and the most active capital in on-chain perps is basically the same money.

I think S&P500 perp is the first real test of whether #Hyperliquid becomes the onchain CME for global traders or just stays a really good crypto-native venue. right now CME S&P ADV is what, ~$200–400B notional/day. HL doesn’t need to beat that. it just needs a tiny slice added to the ~$100M/day it’s already doing. > even 0.5% flow = ~$1–2B daily volume > at 0.035% fee = ~$350K–700K/day → that’s ~$128M–255M extra annual revenue from one market and the product actually has a real MOAT with 24/7 markets, no custody risk, instant execution, global access and officially licensed S&P DJI data (not a synthetic). #CME is closed ~40% of the year. that means every weekend macro shock, every geopolitical event, every earnings leak outside hours… HL is the only place to hedge. we already saw the proof of concept with OIL. when the US/Israel-Iran conflict hit on a weekend, CME was dark. HL kept trading. there’s no other direction for TradFi but to eventually use HL. slow at first, then suddenly it becomes obvious. and it’s already happening, majority of top markets now are non-crypto. guys trading size, not crypto degens with small buckets. imagine every S&P trade on HL is buying HYPE through the buyback model. the case for $HYPE trading at triple digits starts making a lot more sense.
S&P Dow Jones Indices and trade[XYZ] have joined forces to launch the first official S&P 500 perpetual contract, available exclusively on Hyperliquid. For 69 years, the S&P 500 has been a defining reference point for global finance. Until now, access to that benchmark has been shaped by market hours, intermediaries, and geography. Today, that changes. The S&P 500 perp is now available 24/7/365, anchored by the official index data required for deep liquidity and institutional confidence at scale.  SPDJI helped define modern indexing. They are stewards of an iconic benchmark, the standard against which portfolios across the globe are measured. We are honored to bring that legacy on-chain. Trade[XYZ] is bringing the world's most iconic assets towards a future of global, continuous markets — a future powered by Hyperliquid.

ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT STEP ON THE JOUNEY TO BECOMING THE HOUSE OF ALL FINANCE-WOWZA
Huge congratulations to TradeXYZ and S&P for this historic partnership. I'm honored that these teams choose to build on Hyperliquid. Seeing official S&P500 perpetual futures launch exclusively on Hyperliquid is a validation of everyone's past years of hard work: global access to decentralized finance, perpetual futures as 24/7 price discovery, and Hyperliquid upgrading the existing financial stack to house all of finance. The S&P500 is synonymous with "the market," a single number that captures the essence of the largest economy in the world. Looking forward to tracking the world's most important financial gauge 24/7 on the most liquid permissionless markets.
