Just yesterday, I was talking to my associate about bringing a Writ of Mandamus on behalf of a Thai chef my client had sponsored for an EB-3 Visa. He had been approved by USCIS and awaits his interview in Thailand. Holding up a visa applicant who has cleared labor certification for an employment based visa while the government reviews its public charge screening seems arbitrary to me. I think a Federal District Court Judge is likely to see it the same way. Hopefully, this ruling stands and my client's visa application can be processed without further delay.

Uninsured Motorist coverage is confusing to a lot of people. Even some lawyers get confused by it. I made this video a year ago and it offers a pretty good explanation of how uninsured motorist coverage works. It even has a couple of nice examples of real cases. Since this video was made however, the compulsory uninsured motorist limit in Massachusetts has increased from $20,000 per person and $40,000 per accident $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident.
