BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance in Efforts to Identify Individuals in Relation to an Armed Robbery in Dorchester police.boston.gov/2026/09/25…

If elected officials in Roxbury, Mattapan and Dorchester knew we had just ONE police officer answering 911 calls for 2 hours last night, would they be upset? IT’S COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! When are they gonna wake up and do something to help keep our city safe? Hopefully soon.

More violence in Boston. Another person shot. No arrests made. We don’t need to look to Baltimore for best practices, we simply need to hire more cops. People feel safer when they see cops walking the beat. It ain’t rocket science. It’s common sense. wcvb.com/article/person-inju…

Once again, more broad daylight violence. Worse still, it appears people are becoming more brazen about committing serious violence in high profile locations. Last night, South Station; today, North Station. Something needs to be done. We need more cops. boston25news.com/news/local/…

More violence. Deadly stabbing at South Station. Man killed after fight on escalator. bostonherald.com/2026/08/12/…

Another person shot last night in Boston. This time in the Seaport. Stats don’t mean a thing if people don’t feel safe. If you want to stop the violence, put more cops on the street. Nothing makes people feel safer or prevents violence better than a cop walking the beat.

Tragedy averted. Two of our officers were shot at earlier tonight. The windshield on their police cruiser was struck but, thankfully, no officers were injured. Suspect was placed in custody. But again we say it’s NEVER okay to hurt or harm our police officers.

The BPPA supports MNA!!! We were there today making sure Brigham’s nurses had cold water and snacks to fuel their fight for fair wages, safe staffing and world class patient care. Nurses are the backbone of @BrighamWomens. The BPPA proudly stands in solidarity with @MassNurses.

Per BPPA Pres. Larry Calderone, “Before a cop gets killed, I’m calling on every elected member of @BOSCityCouncil to condemn the attack on our officer. The fact that so many have remained silent is a slap in the face to every hardworking cop in the city. Denounce the violence. Unless, of course, you’re okay with Boston feeling more and more like Chicago.”

Completely unacceptable. The disrespect is alarmingly disgraceful. This is Boston at its worst. If you think this type of behavior is remotely acceptable, you’ve lost your mind. Our cops deserve better.

This is NOT what a safe city looks like. Video shows Sullivan’s Tap patrons scrambling last night for safety after BRAZEN downtown Boston shooting. The numbers don’t lie. Fewer cops means more crime. More crime means LESS SAFETY for EVERYONE. boston25news.com/news/local/…

When a disabled veteran is unable to enter his apartment because the elevator is broken for 24 hours at BHA Ruth Barkley Apartments, we must speak out. Last night, Steve slept outside of South Station. Unable to take his prescribed medication. Where is the justice? – at South End, Boston

My right to an attorney is constitutionally guaranteed. So, no Madam AG — it doesn’t disempower you if the courts grant me an attorney— what it does is prevent you from abusing your power by continuing to obstruct justice. #mapoli

At a time when Boston’s Election Department is under state receivership for our failure to effectively administer the 2024 election, now is not the time to make this major change. Our top priority should be to fix the current problems we already have. bostonglobe.com/2025/05/20/n…
