AI saved a dying man's life. Years ago.
He was about to go to hospice and jack shit was working for the fella. An AI combed through the world's medical research, found a pattern, and pointed to a drug that already existed. His doctors tried it annnnnnd he went into remission.
That was all done AI that looks ancient next to what we already have today.
And people want to SLOW DOWN AI progress? Fuck off.
Every model gets better at finding patterns like this. More powerful AI means more of these saves. More people who never make that trip to hospice.
I have stage 4 lung cancer and get a bit wound up when I see this anti-AI bullshit. Get out of the way and let this technology allow people to live longer, healthier lives with their families and loved ones!!
