Some personal news: we’re moving to Seattle! We will both be starting new jobs at @UW in the fall—I’ll be in @uw_sociology and Jason will be in @UWecon.
I am so excited to join the @uw_sociology & @CSDE_UW at UW. Thankful for an amazing 10 years at @HHHSchool & @minnpop.

Absolutely atrocious behavior by the Trump administration. The DHS surveys have taught us so much about so many. They form one of the most important datasets for monitoring SDGs.
Looking forward to participating in this workshop next week. I will give a short presentation on Climate Change, Aging, and Infectious Diseases.
Virtual registration is still open for workshop “Climate Change and Aging" on November 12, 2024 in Seattle, WA in conjunction with the Gerontological Society of America Annual Scientific Meeting. Virtual attendance is free and available to all! amfedaging.wufoo.com/forms/m…

I will miss all of the passionate @HHHSchool students who work so hard to advance the common good. It has been an honor to teach and mentor you all. I will also miss all of the @minnpop Trainees, but will look forward to seeing you at IAPHS and @PopAssocAmerica conferences.
I also want to say thank you to all the past and current @HHHSchool staff who are often the invisible glue that hold so much together- Stacey Grimes, Mary Lou Garza, Mary Maronde, @BryanJBradford, Becky Mattson, Joel Mixon, and Tonisha White.
Do you have recommendations for a good organizer for a #PAA2025 flash session titled “Small area estimation of morbidity and mortality trends”? Feel free to self nominate. Organizers should have an active @PopAssocAmerica membership.

Spread the word.
It was so great to listen to my @HHHSchool colleague @oelberger talk about her work on burnout this morning on the @AngelaDavisMPR show.
