Dear Jagmeet Singh,
I am a 62 year old very concerned wife, mother and grandmother. I worry about my children and grandchildren’s future.
Lately it seems like you are abandoning Canadians by caving into Pierre Poilievre’s demands. We all know without your support Pierre Poilievre could be the next Prime Minister and a dangerous one at that. I’m not exactly sure why you are caving into his demands but Canadians know that if an election were held today Pierre Poilievre could win and a majority and Canada as we know it will never be the same.
I’m really tired of politicians working for themselves like Pierre Poilievre. He’s as dangerous as Donald Trump. We will lose our healthcare, social programs and abortion rights to name a few. But in the last couple of days, it’s clear you are supporting him.
If you support Pierre Poilievre in the next few months and there is an election, you are literally responsible for handing the country over to the Conservatives which will only hurt Canadians not help them. And I can assure the NDP party will decline. And why would you help a guy that hasn’t got his security clearance?
I understand you are unhappy with Trudeau, but at least he puts Canadians first. He got us through a global pandemic and more. We know the liberals and the NDP party aren’t polling very well, but please don’t be that guy, “If I go, you go…”
I am asking you to please reconsider your position for the sake of Canadians.
I’m not sure what kind of deal Pierre Poilievre is making with you, but am highly suspicious.
Please don’t be like Pierre Poiliere, don’t let your ego get in the way of doing what is best for Canadians, because Pierre Poilievre isn’t the answer. Justin Trudeau and you accomplished quite a bit together for Canadians and I believe the two of you continuing to work together will keep this country on track.
