Benjamin Moser, author of Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History, told Rashid Khalidi that his 80-year-old mother, who had all but called him a Hamas member, apologized after reading his book: “I’m ashamed I ever said I was a Zionist.”
His book traces Jewish opposition to Zionism over the past century and challenges their exclusion in discussions over Palestine. “No, you don’t get to set the rules anymore. We’re setting the rules now,” Moser said.
Khalidi added that he had never seen so many people change their views so rapidly, noting that major publishers are now embracing books on Palestine that would have been virtually unpublishable just three or four years ago.

One of the highlights of my time in Jordan was visiting UNWRA archives and examining the index cards and other records of the 750,000 Palestinians kicked off their land at the Nakba in 1948. They used to be kept in Gaza and were airlifted out at the beginning of the genocide- Israel has destroyed all the archives that remained. They form the best evidence for some form of reparations in the future and are now being scanned and digitalised

Gaza and the Turning of History: The Middle East Before and After ARDD Organizes William Dalrymple’s Visit to UNRWA Archives and High-Level Dialogue on Palestine
للمزيد: ardd-jo.org/news/%d8%ba%d8%b…
The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), through its Renaissance Strategic Center (RSC), organised, under the theme “Gaza and the Turning of History: The Middle East Before and After,” a visit to the UNRWA Photo and Film Archives with renowned British historian and author William Dalrymple, alongside a high-level working lunch bringing together diplomats, academics, policymakers, and regional experts to reflect on Gaza and Palestine within the broader historical and political transformations shaping the Middle East.
During the visit to the UNRWA Archives, facilitated in cooperation with UNRWA, Dalrymple explored historical records documenting Palestinian displacement, refugee experiences, and collective memory since 1948. Recognized by UNESCO’s Memory of the World Programme, the archives underscore the importance of preserving Palestinian history, identity, and the experiences of generations of refugees.

A young blonde woman with an American accent in Israel says that all the Arabs must be kicked out of Gaza because it is "our land" since "God commanded us to take it."
The Palestinians should be kicked out to any other Arab state, she continues, except Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, "because they are ours."
"Or we will kill them," she adds
Can we stop pretending that this is a marginal view in Israel? That these are the comments of a fringe minority?
They are not. Israel has been on this path for quite some time.
Western governments know it fully - yet they continue to fund and enable Israel's genocidal policies.

Acclaimed author Irvine Welsh has challenged the ban on Palestine Action live on BBC while defending Irish author Sally Rooney
Rooney previously said she would donate her earnings from her books and BBC adaptations of novels to Palestine Action, which has a state goal of 'ending global participation in Israel’s genocidal and apartheid regime'
As a result, Rooney’s publisher, Faber, with her permission has determined it cannot sell her novels in Britain

Within the next 48 hours, if flour is not allowed into Gaza, all bakeries in the city will stop producing bread.
We are facing an enormous catastrophe. Famine is knocking on our doors once again, and this time, it could be worse than anything we have experienced before.
Please, do not remain silent! Talk about Gaza, make our voices heard around the world, and do everything you can before thousands of people lose access to something as basic as a loaf of bread.

Very good letter and what a group of signatories!
We have published an open letter against the removal of Sally Rooney’s books from sale in Britain.
Between them, the signatories to the New Statesman open letter have won every major literary prize, from the Booker to the Pulitzer. They include Nobel laureates: Anne Carson, the most recent winner of the literature award; Annie Ernaux, and JM Coetzee. These are voices from all over the world, including pre-eminent novelists: Julian Barnes, Zadie Smith, Jeanette Winterson, George Saunders, Ben Lerner and many more. Key figures in the wider Rooneyverse are signed up: Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones, Alison Oliver, Fionn O’Shea and Lenny Abrahamson. Among the award-winning actors, filmmakers, and screenwriters who have signed include: Tilda Swinton, Susan Sarandon, Jessie Buckley, Jonathan Glazer, Armando Iannucci and Sharon Horgan. In total, over 150 major figures have signed.
Sally Rooney is a writer, not a terrorist.

Watched NAZA yesterday.
At the end, there was total silence, other than the occasional sob.
No one moved until the credits stopped rolling.
It’s a film which the perpetrators of genocide confessed their crimes.
One day that will happen from the dock.

⭕️ Benjamin Moser, the Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer and author of "Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History" agreed with the New York Times' main criticism of his new book on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday.
The Times review said the book "paints a fraught world in black and white" and casts Israelis and Palestinians as "evil perpetrator and a virtuous victim."
"Absolutely correct," said Moser. "I do think it's black and white… There's a colonizer and there's a colonized. There is a victim and there is a [perpetrator].”

What shocks me is how every liberal value has collapsed in Britain. Now people go after someone’s wife or go after someone because of his wife. This is truly barbaric stuff

Shami Chakrabarti, meet Ahmed Alnaouq- who lost almost his entire extended family in an Israeli bombing, including 13 small children - and @ghadakarmi - exiled as a child from Jerusalem in the Nakba and forced to live her entire life in exile because she belongs to the wrong ethnicity .
Perhaps you could explain to them why their views are "foolish ... student politics." /1
"For me as a Palestinian, Zionism is racism. Zionism is genocidal. Zionism is sociopathic. Zionism is all about ethnic cleansing for a group of people at the expense of another. If I were not Palestinian, if I just happened to be a Jewish person, I would have lived with all my rights granted. No one would have questioned me, no one would have come after my land, my country, to kill us. So if that is not racism, then what is? Ever since I came to the UK, I've been hearing some bizarre ideas: 'Zionism means different things to different people'. Zionism means only one thing. And it means one thing to the people that it was manifested at. Zionism means genocide and death."

Can anyone remember the last time @BBCNews interviewed a Palestinian about their experience of the racism of Zionism? Having spent the last two weeks interviewing elderly Nakba survivors in Jordan, driven off their land in their teens because of their ethnicity and religion, I'd be happy to suggest some astonishingly articulate victims of Israeli racism who would be only too happy to tell their tragic stories of eviction, slaughter and dispossession. It is like reporting on the Civil Rights movement in the US and only interviewing outraged Whites
