Our governments need to embrace scooters and skate boards. Stop demonising but actively promote them.
Car driver killing a scooter rider is not justification to attack active transport. It is an excuse to promote alternative transport and control drivers from being oblivious

At $2.15 a litre for fuel I'm calling all cycling, walking and public transport advocates to support all forms of active transport.
That means scooters, skate boards, roller blades, any way we can reduce our reliance on cars and especially oil.
We need to work together

Great work.
Can we have an update on Black Forest Drive in Macedon where a 2nd cyclist was killed. Word on the street is that DoT put a business case forward to build safe bicycle lanes but the Minister vetoed it! How many more lives will be sacrificed before action is taken?

Do Melbourne's traffic lights still prioritise cars and trucks over people wanted to cross roads? That has always felt backwards to me. @BenCarrollMP @bicycle_network @AusCycle
