I believe strongly that we can end homelessness.
If we prioritise it.

Or @Richard_D_Boyle being prosecuted for raising awareness of predatory practices in the tax office.
How will you protect those you are using for clicks? @EmiliaTerzon @ABCaustralia

Its not enough to say we will end fossil fuels
and then not.
Not enough to start building a nuclear plant that will take 15 or more years to get online.
We need to repair the damage done.

David is lying to us all. There is only one crime statistic that has increased, and that's domestic and family violence.
We are focused on ending male violence, LNP doesn't give a damn. Choose positive politics, not the politics of fear and smear.

ALP and LNP refuse to recognise the mass suffering happening. A housing crisis that needs drastic action NOW.
As well as a slow investment for the future.
We NEED to increase our minimum stock of publichousing, like what Albo's mum got. >10%
Do it.

Qld Labor is only creating enough social and affordable homes to continue existing stock levels. 53k affordable homes in 20 years means bugger all when 900k total houses need to be built.
Labor is failing us.

In Australia kids are deemed criminally responsible at 10, but social media irresponsible at 14.

We have a chance to bring change in politics for Queensland, but time is running out! Labor and LNP are both failing us, we need positive politics

We won't see a change in politics until we vote for a change in politics.

Don't get me wrong.
I love what charities are doing and the gap they are filling.
I'd just prefer to address the gap and empower people.

This is what violence against women and children looks like in Australia - can we really afford to keep turning a blind eye to femicide and child deaths? Can we?
Just over eight years ago, I put the first names and faces on my project, the Australian Femicide and Child Death Map. Since 2018, I've documented the killing of close to 3000 women and children here in Australia and of Australians lost to violence overseas. Here's
how the Map looks today.
❤️You can view the Australian Femicide & Child Death Map here bit.ly/red-hearts

We will push for treaty and truth telling in Queensland, even if we're the only ones to do so. Our federal colleagues at @AusProgressive are the same. Self determination, not colonisation.
This broken promise shows Albanese and the new Minister for Indigenous Australians still refuse to listen to First Peoples.
They’re more interested in listening to Peter Dutton.
Enough lies. They must clearly recommit to a truth-telling commission.

This will get much worse under @DavidCrisafulli, and Queensland will be made more unsafe because of it.
Progressives will push to have all 76 recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into police implemented, especially creating an independent investigation unit.
Ex-officers are “sickened” by footage showing a policeman beating a teen with a baton at a watchhouse.
The ABC has also obtained an internal audit of watchhouses showing in 2019 the service was warned about "deficiencies" re: "human rights considerations" abc.net.au/news/2024-07-11/q…
