I think my favorite layoffs so far this year are the Sucker Punch layoffs

Don't let the crunchy moms bully you into endless hard mode. Get the bottle washer, put baby in the Huggies, and let those nursery rhymes play on TV 💅
I am not a mom, but I am genuinely curious about this because there are so many opinions. Do you actually truly NEED to sanitize bottles or is that optional? I understand washing them (duh), but sanitizing them every single time… that seems like a lot of work 😅

Dressmaker developer Sabrina Becker says women are still an underserved audience in gaming. “We were definitely targeting women from the get-go,” “Women are such an underserved market in video games, even though women love video games.” The team saw how popular dress-up games are on platforms like Roblox and wanted to create a deeper experience for that audience. It seems to have worked: Dressmaker has over 17,500 Steam reviews with a 98% positive rating, and still averages more than 15,000 concurrent players a month after launch. The game has also attracted older players, with some reviewers saying it even brought back their love of sewing.

Music from video games is endless inspiration and should be part of any rotating playlist. My top 10: #1 Expedition 33 #2 Neir Automata #3 Witcher 3 #4 Elder Scrolls #5 Elden Ring #6 Stellar Blade #7 Ball Pit #8 Halo CE #9 Assassins Creed II #10 Divinity OS 2
Is there any gaming soundtrack so good that you've actually listened to it outside of playing the game???

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold 8.7 million copies and generated around $366 million in revenue, according to Alinea Analytics. -58.8% on Steam -5.5% on Xbox The game also had 4.3 million Game Pass players, which may have reduced Xbox sales but it also helped more people discover the game. Make amazing games, sell like crazy? Who would have wondered this

Castlevania went to sleep as a Japanese gothic tragedy, and woke up 12 years later as a western reddit cartoon. There's no talent or imagination in this field today. Every piece of fiction is being homogenized into the same safe, sterile, simplified, sanitized, softened slurry.
The succubus from the game you played when you were 10 years old versus the one from the game you played at age 40:

Asked Grok to give me artist recommendations here on X and he kept sending me to furry profiles. Either there are no normal artists on this site or AI is totally desensitized atp. Either way, thanks for the trauma Grok.

Fun fact: There are more people playing Dressmaker than Gears of War E-Day right now.
Gears of War E-Day is out of early access and STRUGGLING. Still hasn’t been able to top Halo: Campaign Evolved. Remember, Halo: CE performed so poorly that Asha basically SHUT the entire studio down. Not looking great for The Coalition… Mega OOF 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈

The viral Steam game Dressmaker began with something far more personal than a game idea. Sabrina Becker had always loved sewing and costume design, even making the dress she wore on her first date with developer Jonathan Hau-Yoon. Her hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome eventually made sewing much harder because of how physically demanding it can be. “I had to take a break from it for a while because of the health condition that I have; it can sometimes make sewing really difficult,” she explained. Jonathan created Dressmaker so Sabrina could explore the hobby she loved in a more physically accessible way. “It was a way for me to explore that interest and passion more accessibly,” When her health allows, Sabrina also helps design and curate the clothing and aesthetics, and playtests the game. Her love of clothing is what inspired Jonathan to make it.

Wholesome game with a wholesome backstory. More of this please🙏
Viral Steam game Dressmaker was created after the developer’s wife lost her ability to sew due to a medical condition He helped turn her hobby into Dressmaker so she could reconnect with it virtually

Everyone is so impressive with their detailed art in Dressmaker. I attempted a watercolor elephant - felt like it took me years😅 but I'm pretty pleased with it!

Silent Hill F was depressingly awful :/
The new Silent Hill entries have overall been a disappointment These new approaches are not working; the franchise needs to go back to basics Perhaps a good starting point would be for the next entry to ACTUALLY take place in Silent Hill 🥴

The replies I'm getting to this are starting to make me think Witcher 4 might not do very well... Nahhhh that's crazy talk.... 🤔

Also, the protag in Control wasn't gender swapped. It's about a brother and sister - Resonant is continuing the story but this time Jesse is missing and the brother is looking for her. (Great game btw) It's not like turning Ciri into a Witcher for the sole purpose of playing as a woman.

They do exist though. Or they're bots. Either way, this is going to be Wolverine levels of a crash and burn.

Gutting an entire studio but still keeping the cancerous mass of leadership that caused most issues is genuinely insane Way to completely negate the purpose of this Halo shake up Pathetic
