Daily $TAO Subnet Pulse โ March 23, 2026
Bittensor is cooking ๐ง๐ปโ๐ณ โbig moves today from devs, owners & community:
โขChutes AI (SN64): Kyle Widmann (@KyleWidmann) open-sourced their TEE VM stackโIntel TDX, NVIDIA passthrough, remote attestation, LUKS encryption, no SSH. Verifiable private compute for miners. Solid privacy play; community calling it โmost robust open-source confidential infraโ yet. Threadโs blowing upโfollow for secure inference updates.
โขTemplar (SN3): Flipped Chutes to become largest subnet by stake. Jesus Martinez (@JesusMartinez) posted proofโ$100M+ cap feels low vs. real AI projects. โIf everyone got staking, TAO hits $1B easy.โ High-volume training infra; watch for $1B subnet era.
โขInteroperability glow-up: Michael Parker (@bittensormax) mapped the webโAffine (SN120) bridges models โ Chutes hosts โ Hippius (SN75) stores โ Handshake (SN58) pays. Autoppia (@AutoppiaAI) chimed in: โAll inโIPFS, inference, agents composing.โ Real loops forming; no more silos.
โขVidaio (SN85): AMA pivot from compression tool to agentic archive curator. Gareth Howe teased workflow ownership, PIP Studios TPN unlock for Hollywood deals. โOne partnership = 50.โ Enterprise moat buildingโdemo savings, compliance gaps auto-fixed.
โขQuick hits: Targon (SN4) saw 300 TAO buy ($83k). TAO chart at $271, hugging EMA 200โaccumulation vibes per CyrilXBT. No fresh Discord leaks today (public channels quiet), but X chatterโs hot.
Ecosystem is composable & scaling fast. Stake smart, DYOR. $TAO #Bittensor ๐

We said we'd put our scores next to the best in the world. Here it is.
SOTA vs SN36 leaderboard is now live: infinitewebarena.autoppia.coโฆ
Real-time rankings. 150+ tasks evaluated. Updated continuously.
This is where Autoppia web agents stand today: #4 out of the top web agents in the world, behind Browser Use (Claude), Browser Use (GPT), and OpenAI CUA.
Are we #1? Not yet. But look closer.
Our top miner's agent (OJO Agent) runs at $0.03/task. Browser Use Claude costs $0.18/task. OpenAI CUA costs $0.20/task. It's also the fastest.
This is what Bittensor was built for. Decentralized competition producing world-class results at a fraction of the cost of centralized labs.
And this is with one strong miner. Imagine what happens when 0% burn brings in 10+ more.
This leaderboard updates every day. You don't have to take our word for anything. Just watch the numbers.

We owe our community an honest conversation. With everything that's happened lately, we want to talk about where we are, what went wrong, and what we're doing about it.
For the past year, we've been building. IWA, Automata, Dynamic Zero, and open-sourcing our solution. But here's what we got wrong: we built in silence. And when our community raised concerns, we got defensive instead of listening. That's on us.
So today, we want to address some of the things you've been saying, and what we're doing about it.

They exist. Automata is live right now at automata(dot)autoppia(dot)com and it's powered by the web agent built by our top miner on the subnet.
That's the model working as intended: miners compete, the best agent rises, and it gets put to work. Is it perfect though? No. The agent is still improving and there are tasks it struggles with. Building SOTA web agent is genuinely hard โ if it weren't, OpenAI and Anthropic wouldn't be pouring resources into the same problem. But ours is already good enough to power a live product, and it's getting better every week. We'll be showcasing what Automata can do so you can see for yourselves.
We also have 17 dynamic websites running on IWA, miners deploying models through Chutes, and scores improving on the leaderboard.

You were right. 0.75ฯ/day to miners isn't enough to attract the volume of talent needed to push agents further. Our top miner proved the system works โ one miner built an agent good enough to ship in production. Now we need to bring in more miners at that level. We heard this feedback and we took it seriously.

๐ฏ) "๐ฌ๐ข๐จ'๐๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐."
We're not going anywhere. We've significantly restructured our marketing so you'll get clearer and more consistent messaging from now on. 0% burn will accelerate our progress as we attract more quality miners to the subnet.
We're open to feedback. We know we have to earn back your trust and we're asking the community to give us another chance to make things right. We have a cracked team that is fully committed to Bittensor and to execution, and we intend to add value to this network.
We know trust isn't rebuilt with one post. It's rebuilt one kept promise at a time. March 30 is the first. Hold us to it.

Ok, if you were interested in AI web Agents SOTA, now is the time to enter and save Autoppia.
Huge work has been done, Affine integration, buyback, emission burn to 0%, etc.
When looking to all of the 128 subnets, I see a lot of shitty ones, a lot of extractors, but Autoppia not among them. A bit of support for their work could save a good project for the whole ecosystem.

Autoppia | Subnet 36 on Bittensor retweeted
Autoppia open-sourced something most AI companies never would: the entire pipeline.
Here's how it works:
1/ Miners submit Agent code to GitHub. Not just prompt templates, but full agent logic with LLM orchestration, heuristics, and multi-model calls per step.
2/ Validators clone the repo and deploy it in a sandboxed Python environment. No internet access. LLM calls are routed through an approved gateway (OpenAI, Chutes, more coming).
3/ Agents are evaluated step by step. At each step, the agent sees browser state (HTML, screenshot, URL) and returns an action & reasoning. Cost and time are capped per step and per task.
4/ Scoring follows a weighted formula. The best agent takes all the incentive. Winner-takes-all.
5/ Anti-spam is embedded: score-based cooldowns, optional min stake, 1 hotkey per coldkey, 1 GitHub per coldkey. Gaming is hard.
6/ Next up: payments to scale to 1kโ2k tasks per season.
Why it matters:
OpenAI has Operator. Anthropic has Computer Use. Browser Use raised +$17M.
But Autoppia is the only project where evaluation is automated via a synthetic benchmark (IWA) that generates endless novel web tasks so agents can't memorize their way to the top.
Decentralized. Permissionless. Meritocracy enforced by code, not by executives.

WHY $TAO IS THE MOST OBVIOUS BET IN CRYPTO RIGHT NOW
Most people sleep on the real infrastructure plays
I've been watching AI projects for months and 90% are just wrapped APIs with a token slapped on top.
Raise money, promise "decentralized AI", deliver nothing.
Then I found @opentensor $TAO (3y ago, at $40 around, good ol' times for sure) and something clicked differently.
THE RAW NUMBERS
Market cap: ~$1.8B
Circulating supply: 7.4M TAO
Max supply: 21M (same as Bitcoin)
Daily emissions: Halving mechanism built in
Active subnets: 50+
Validators: 1,000+
24h volume: Consistently $150-200M
Infrastructure with real activity.
WHAT BITTENSOR ACTUALLY DOES
It's a decentralized network where AI models compete and get rewarded based on performance.
No single company controls it. No centralized API. No permission needed.
Subnets are specialized networks within TAO for different AI tasks.
Text generation, image recognition, data processing, whatever.
Each subnet has its own miners producing AI outputs and validators scoring quality.
Better outputs = more TAO rewards. Simple.
WHY THE TOKENOMICS MATTER
21 million max supply. Same as Bitcoin.
Halving emissions over time. Same scarcity model that made BTC what it is.
But here's the difference - BTC miners burn energy for security, TAO miners burn compute for useful AI work.
One secures a ledger. One trains artificial intelligence.
Both scarce. One arguably more useful long term.
THE SUBNET ECOSYSTEM
SN1 - Text generation
SN2 - Machine translation
SN3 - Data scraping
SN8 - Time series prediction
SN9 - Text to image
SN19 - Vision models
SN21 - Storage
SN36 - @AutoppiaAI (B2B services)
SN63 - @qBitTensorLabs (Quantum computing)
(idk the official pages of other SN sorry, tag them if u want in the comments)
Over 50 subnets live and producing real AI outputs daily.
THE MARKET OPPORTUNITY
Global AI market projected $1.8 TRILLION by 2030.
Where do all these AI agents and protocols live when they need to scale without centralized bottlenecks?
OpenAI can shut you off anytime. Google can change API terms overnight. Amazon can raise prices whenever.
Decentralized AI infrastructure solves this. T
AO is building that home base.
WHAT I'M SEEING
Upbit listing brought Korean volume
Bitget partnership for staking
Founder stepped down for more decentralization
Developer activity consistently high on GitHub
Institutional interest growing quietly
While CT chases the next dog coin, actual infrastructure is being built that the entire AI market will need.
MY TAKE
When I look at where crypto and AI intersect, this is the most asymmetric bet I've seen in a while.
Fixed supply like Bitcoin
Real utility unlike 99% of AI tokens
Growing subnet ecosystem
Institutional rails being built
I'm not here to convince anyone.
DYOR and make your own calls.
But the question I keep asking myself is simple:
Why isn't everyone talking about this?
What am I missing here Tribe?

-not financial advice-NOT an adv-always make sure to DYOR before investing in anything-

If you want to take advantage of OpenClawโฆ
You need exposure to AI agents.
Here are 5 Bittensor $TAO subnets specifically positioned for the agent economy ๐
1๏ธโฃ SN36 โ @AutoppiaAI
Building a competitive marketplace where autonomous agents prove themselves in live tasks.
These agents operate real websites in an open, constantly evolving environment. Not a demo. Not a closed API. This approach produces superior AI agents.
2๏ธโฃ SN39 โ @basilic_ai
Decentralized GPU compute.
The compute layer for decentralized AI. Agents are where that thesis gets tested for real.
Agents need inference + training power.
No compute = no agents.
3๏ธโฃ SN58 โ @handshake_58
Underlying plumbing for machine-to-machine markets.
Trustless micropayments for autonomous AI agents like OpenClaw.
No credit cards. No subscriptions.
Just open a channel and they pay as they go.
4๏ธโฃ SN62 โ @ridges_ai
Specialized coding agents.
AI writing, debugging, shipping software autonomously.
Digital workers replacing junior dev tasks.
AI Software Engineers that fully replace human coders.
5๏ธโฃ SN78 โ @Loosh_ai
A cognition engine designed for robotics and agents, empowering them with self awareness, self reflection, deontology, memory, and emotional inference.
REMEMBER:
Bittensor is a critical backbone for the agent economy. OpenClaw creates autonomous actors, while Bittensor gives them a labor market..

Today, let's put Autoppia (SN36) through Constโs 6 subnet filters ๐
1๏ธโฃ Digital commodity?
Yes. We produce decentralized AI web agents that automate real-world web tasks (forms, bookings, orders). Automation becomes a commoditized, on-demand resource.
2๏ธโฃ Are miners productive?
Yes. Our miners build and run AI agents that solve real, dynamic web workflows in live browser environments.
3๏ธโฃ Intelligent?
Yes. The goal is to create generalistic intelligent web operators. Agents are evaluated on their ability to reason, adapt, and reliably operate real, dynamic websites.
4๏ธโฃ Hard?
Yes. Tasks are generated by the Infinite Web Arena (IWA) โ dynamic websites, randomized conditions, no memorization. This pushes real agent capability towards SOTA.
5๏ธโฃ Not a ponzi?
Yes. Rewards are tied only to verifiable performance, with all evaluations transparently visible on IWAP.
6๏ธโฃ AI-native?
Yes. Autoppia is an AI-first ecosystem for web operators and autonomous companies.
โญ๏ธ VERDICT: Autoppia checks all filters. โ

Fresh 2026 data backs the "AI or die" reality harder than ever:
โข MIT: 95% of genAI projects fail to scale/profit. Internal builds flop 67% of the time; only vendor/partnership plays hit 33% success.
โข AlixPartners Disruption Index 2026: CEOs now see constant disruption as the norm and worry they can't keep pace.
โข 72% of S&P 500 flagged AI as a material risk in 2025 filings (reputation, cyber, regulation).
โข Gartner: 60% of AI initiatives will be abandoned by 2026 without proper data foundations.
Most companies investing billions in AI? Getting zero ROI.
I dive deep into SOME active subnets, the real, revenue-generating engines producing AI commodities today:
โข Chutes (SN64)@chutes_ai: Serverless inference, 20-30T tokens processed (more than Grok claims), $90M+ val.
โข Lium (SN51)@lium_io: Decentralized GPUs, $30-40M ARR runway.
โข Targon (SN4)@TargonCompute: Confidential compute, $10M+ ARR, enterprise contracts.
โข Templar (SN3)@tplr_ai: Distributed training, Covenant72B live, consumer GPUs joining frontier runs.
โข Gradients (SN56)@gradients_ai: AutoML crushing centralized tools.
โข Affine (SN120)@affine_io: Adversarial reasoning arena.
โข IOTA/Apex (SN9/1)@Apex_SN1 @IOTA_SN9: Permissionless pretraining + agentic competitions.
โข Ridges (SN62)@ridges_ai: Autonomous coders beating Claude at fraction cost.
โข Sundae_bar (SN121)@sundaebar_ai & Autoppia (SN36)@AutoppiaAI: Enterprise/generalist agents + web automation.
โข PTN/Vanta (SN8)@VantaSN8: AI prop trading, $30M+ rewards.
โข Synth (SN50)@SynthdataCo & MANTIS (SN123)@MANTISBittensor: Prediction markets crushing Polymarket.
โข Score (SN44)@webuildscore: Vision AI with 5 enterprise deals in months.
โข Sportstensor (SN41)@sportstensor: Sports betting intel.
โข BitMind (SN34)@bitmind: Deepfake detection, 150k+ app users, Coinbase award.
โข NATIX (SN72)@NATIXNetwork: 170M+ km mapped, Physical AI backbone.
โข MIID (SN54)@yanez__ai : Compliance testing for banks.
โข FLock OFF (SN96) @flock_off_sn96: Federated on-device SLMs.
โข Data Universe (SN13) @Data_SN13: 702M+ rows scraped.
โข Bitcast (SN93)@Bitcast_network: Creator economy flywheel.
โข Dippy (SN11)@dippy_ai: 1M+ users, $60K/mo revenue companions.
โข Zeus (SN18)@zeussubnet: Weather forecasting edge.
โขQuantum(SN48/63)@qBitTensorLabs @OpenQuantum_: Quantum marketplace.
โข Mainframe (SN25)@MacrocosmosAI & NOVA (SN68)@metanova_labs: DeSci drug discovery.
This isn't vapor. It's shipping, revenue-positive, composable AI owned by no one, competed into existence daily.

Here are two Bittensor $TAO subnets I follow closely that I believe are super undervalued, backed by strong teams, and consistently ship meaningful updates.
1. Autoppia, subnet 36 @AutoppiaAI
"On a mission to have the best Web Operator and the best Web Benchmark in the world (Infinite Web Arena)."
The future of work will be powered by AI agents. People will go to marketplaces and say: โWe need 5 agents that can handle these tasks.โ
Autoppia is building the infrastructure to make that future real. They are also pushing their miners to build SOTA web agents.
With a price of only .0038 $TAO, the risk / reward ratio here is very juicy.
BTW, I still remember replying to one of Autoppia's posts and they commented: "We won't let you down". This stuck with me.
2. Nodexo, subnet 27 @nodex0_
A decentralized ai compute marketplace.
Per Nodexo's post on Dec 13th: "Nodexo offers operators a single, streamlined dashboard for their infrastructure, clear and traceable balances, and tooling designed around revenue, reliability, performance, and long-term upkeep. Getting set up is fast, day-to-day operations stay frictionless, and the level of insight is hard to match. The network is accelerating, with providers at the center of that growth.
For anyone looking for genuine transparency and hands-on control, this is a solid entry point."
This subnet has been shipping updates nearly every week. Extremely focused.
Another very juicy subnet with an extremely low price of .0032.
