The Deadwings are proud to announce the signing of this former New Brigden Jets great to a 2 year deal starting next season. Our new addition should bolster our second line scoring.
Deadwings down 2–1 after 1 vs Bustall in the valley. Guaranteed $5 50/50 so come on down for the second.
GAME DAY!!!!! Deadwings home opener against the Marengo Merchants. Puck drop at 7:30 at the AV Coliseum. Nothing else to do when it’s this cold so come on out and #packthebarn
Huge game at the hanger tonight. Former Deadwing and current OOOOLLLLLLDDDDD timer @BIGTIZ1 was talking lots of trash at the media availability at Freddy’s today. Should make for a playoff style heated affair. Puck drop at 7:30 #wingsnation
Happy birthday to Deadwings forward Chris Tucker. Thought we’d post a pic of the only time he’s actually made a shot
Congratulations to Deadwings Allstar Ashton Kuhn on getting married today. Unlike his hockey career he just might score tonight.
A tough loss for the Deadwings in the opener of the Burstall tourney, lost 10-3 but we out shot Richmond 35-11. A moral victory for boys. The Long change really hurt us in the 2nd. Looking to bounce back at 4:30. Moral is high at the Bustall bar.
Tough night in Eatonia for the boys. Loss to the Kindersley Farmers, definitely had nothing to do with goaltending which was stellar from the blue line out. Defense was definitely lacking. Next game is on the road in Burstall for the Xmas classic.
Injury update. Josh Stolz has been put in the IR listed as day to day with what is being called an upper body injury. Head coach @BIGTIZ1 will have more updates at his media availability at 4:00.
YOU CAN PUT IN THE WIN COLUMN!!!!!! The Deadwings pick up their first win of the season on the road in Burstall. The 14-12 win comes on the heels of a stellar performance by back up Chris Tucker. Next up for the wings, Tuesday in Eatonia.
GAME DAY!!!! The season starts tonight. The boys are in Eatonia to play Mendham. Could be a long night for the boys, missing last years league MVP between the pipes......just sayin
Throwback Thursday to the days of the 2010/11 Deadwings team. Looks like some have got a little wider over there the years.
A big deadwings salute to all the players who competed in the 24hr hockey game this weekend in the valley. Great job by all the organizers and volunteers. Over $54,000 raised for @albertacancer
Highlight of the night is a tie between Scuba Steve's absolute snipe show, bar down. And @timid8r85 acrobatic stick save in the shootout.
You can PUT IT IN THE WIN COLUMN!!!!!!!!!! DEADWINGS WIN!!!!! @timid8r85 stopped 2/3 in the shootout. Come on down to the KC hall and celebrate.
