During a challenge, two limits matter: Maximum Loss and Maximum Daily Loss.
They aren't interchangeable. Both monitor account equity, including unrealized P&L.
3/4 — Rolling Daily Loss
The daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC based on account equity.
1-Phase: 4% 2-Phase: 5%
Example: $10,000 equity with a 5% limit means a $9,500 floor for that day. Both realized and unrealized losses count.
4/4 — Challenge vs Funded
These figures describe challenge configurations. @carrotfunding also applies core risk limits to funded accounts, so don't assume every funded limit is static.
