Aethir Tokenomics 2.0: Linking Token Supply to Real Compute Usage
Starting in November 2026, Aethir will bind ATH supply dynamics to actual compute consumption. A portion of the network fees charged on compute bookings will be burned daily, with full transparency via a dedicated Burn Dashboard. This marks the first implementation of a mechanism that routes protocol revenue directly into token supply reduction.
AGPU is both a significant customer of the Aethir network and a key infrastructure delivery partner under the ACCELERATE program. As AGPU converts its signed contracts into operating capacity, a portion of that activity is expected to translate into real compute usage on the Aethir network.
For investors holding both assets, the relationship is not unidirectional. $AGPU ’s contract execution feeds into Aethir’s fee-to-burn mechanism through actual network utilization. In turn, ethereum:0xbe0ed4138121ecfc5c0e56b40517da27e6c5226b supply reduction and price performance feed back into AGPU’s balance sheet via its substantial ATH holdings. With Tokenomics 2.0 going live in November, the pipeline from enterprise contracts to network usage to ATH burns will be formally activated.
Major ATH tokenomics update: we’re introducing daily ATH burns, funded by a share of network fees.
Every burn goes to a public burn address, where tokens are permanently removed from supply. The mechanism goes live in November.
We’re also replacing the fixed platform fee with a floating network fee, set by a published formula that reads market conditions. When the market weakens, the fee falls and the share that gets burned rises.
Cloud Hosts are protected by design: the fee can never exceed the value of Cloud Host rewards.
The underlying host emissions schedule remains unchanged. The update changes the fee mechanism applied around those rewards.
A dashboard tracking daily, monthly and cumulative ATH burned will be available in November.
Burns that follow real network activity, and you can check every one of them.

Congratulations to $AGPU and $PENG on their partnership! If the two sides form a long-term alignment of interests, they have the opportunity to jointly build the fastest-growing global AI infrastructure operating platform: AGPU is responsible for customers, capital, GPU assets, and energy/data-center resources, while Penguin is responsible for the design, construction, deployment, and full life-cycle operations of AI Factories.
For AGPU, the most critical issue at this stage is no longer proving that it can win orders, but how to convert the tens of billions of dollars in signed long-term contracts into operating clusters and recognizable revenue in a stable and rapid manner. What Penguin supplies is precisely this layer of engineering capability. With a mature large-scale delivery and operations system as the foundation, the capital market’s core question about this young company can shift from “whether it can independently complete deployments of this scale” to “whether orders can be put into production through a standardized path.” The execution-risk discount has room to decline, and the certainty of converting orders into operations and revenue should increase.
More important is the ability to replicate at scale. What is truly difficult in AI infrastructure is not building the first cluster, but building the 10th and the 20th at the same time. After binding with Penguin, each time AGPU wins a new large customer, it will not need to search for an engineering team again, rebuild a technical system, or re-validate operating capabilities. New projects can enter the same standard process: financing → GPU procurement → data center and power → Penguin deployment and acceptance → go-live and operations. The company’s form also has the opportunity to shift from a project company that advances one project at a time to a replicable platform company.
Over the longer term, AGPU’s most valuable asset may not be GPUs alone. GPUs will continue to iterate, and new architectures will follow B300. The competitiveness that can truly accumulate is a system that continuously originates customer demand, organizes capital to build compute assets, and rapidly converts the latest generation of GPUs into operable compute capacity. If this machine — “capital + demand → AI compute assets + long-term cash flow” — can be run through, the market’s pricing logic for AGPU may also upgrade from a contract story to that of a global AI infrastructure operating platform.
Demand for Axe Compute Build is surging. Today AGPU announced a multi-year partnership with Penguin Solutions (NASDAQ: PENG) to expand capacity and accelerate delivery to meet it.
Penguin will support multiple sites as we work to bring $3.45B+ in contracted AI infrastructure projects to production globally.

Axe Compute reported Q2 results and held its earnings call last night. Four developments stand out as particularly relevant to the investment thesis:
1. Customer Quality and Contract Credibility
The company’s commercial model continues to demonstrate strong counterparty quality. Typical Build contracts require 20–40% customer prepayments. In August alone, Axe received $317 million in additional customer prepayments. These are non-cancellable cash inflows that have already hit the balance sheet, providing tangible evidence of both delivery capability and customer commitment. In an industry where contract announcements often outpace actual capital commitments, this level of upfront cash collection is a meaningful differentiator.
2. Contract-Level Economics Appear Superior to Key Peers
Management provided illustrative unit economics on signed Build contracts, projecting adjusted EBITDA margins in the 62–76% range at the contract level (excluding corporate overhead allocation).
For context, the most recent reported figures are:
CoreWeave (Q2 2026): 59% company-wide adjusted EBITDA margin
Nebius AI Cloud (Q2 2026): approximately 50% segment adjusted EBITDA margin
While Axe’s figures are forward-looking and contract-specific rather than company-wide realized results, the implied project-level profitability sits meaningfully above the current reported margins of the two largest pure-play neocloud peers. This supports the view that Axe’s Build model, if executed as modeled, can deliver attractive returns on invested capital.
3. Strategic Shift from Pure Service Provider to Infrastructure Owner
The newly announced partnership with Duos Technologies marks a structural evolution. The two companies will co-own new data center capacity through special purpose vehicles, with Axe expected to hold a 49% equity interest across projects totaling up to 55 MW.
This moves Axe beyond a pure access/reseller model into partial ownership of the underlying power and facility assets that support its customer contracts. Over time, ownership should improve long-term cost control, enhance pricing power, and create a more durable asset base behind multi-year take-or-pay agreements.
4. Financing Path Remains Non-Dilutive
Management reiterated that multiple institutional capital providers have expressed willingness to support project financing through debt structures. Combined with the substantial customer prepayment inflows already received, the company appears positioned to fund the majority of near-term Build deployments without equity issuance.
This capital structure approach is notably shareholder-friendly relative to many early-stage infrastructure peers that have relied heavily on dilutive equity raises to fund growth.
Bottom line: The quarter and subsequent disclosures reinforce three elements of the thesis — high-quality contracted cash flows, differentiated project-level economics, and a capital-light path to infrastructure ownership. Execution on the Build backlog and successful conversion of the Duos partnership into operating assets will be the key variables to monitor in the coming quarters.
Axe Compute has received $317M+ in customer prepayments under the $3B+ in AI infrastructure contracts announced July 27.
This accelerates deployment of dedicated AI infrastructure across the U.S. and Europe. Revenue expected to begin late Q4 2026.
