Following yesterday’s Holborn and St Pancras by-election, I have today written formally to the Oxford Street Development Corporation, City Hall and Camden Electoral Services requesting urgent documentary clarification.
Official records confirm Sagal Abdi-Wali’s appointment to the Oxford Street Development Corporation Board in June 2026, and City Hall continues to list her as a member.
Under the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975, membership of a Mayoral Development Corporation is a disqualifying position.
WAS SHE STILL A MEMBER WHEN NOMINATIONS CLOSED ON 15 SEPTEMBER OR ON POLLING DAY, 8 OCTOBER?
I have formally requested confirmation of the precise date any resignation or termination became legally effective.
