Somali names traditionally use a person's given name, father's name, and grandfather's name rather than Western-style inherited surnames. MAGA spent ten years researching Ilhan Omar and somehow never found time to research how Somali names work.

Isn't it interesting how when Trump attacks Somalis, neither Black people nor other Muslims seem to react with any real outrage? Don't get me wrong, I'm not even ranting, but I think it says a lot about where Somalis stand socially and how we're perceived as a group of our own.
Trump knows this and I think this is why he believes Somalis are the perfect target for this kinda stuff. If it were any other sub-Saharan African group I feel like this would spark massive outrage and be seen as an attack on 'Black people' as a whole.
