There is this old man in his 70s, a retired teacher. His wife has stage 4 cancer; he tends to her single-handedly. His son has been in jail for the past 35 years for a crime the old man says he didn't commit. He's the only one who has visited his son in prison for the past 25 years. The daughter went to Saudi Arabia and never looked back. He's a retired teacher. His grandkids never visit.
He told me he has nothing left to live for as his health is also detororating.
"I feel like giving up somedays, but who'll take care of my ailing wife."he says.
My question is is kenya prepared enough for the old age pandemic about to hit us? Smart business persons should start investing in retirement homes.

Our shared commitment to President William Ruto and the Broad-Based Government remains intact. However, our visions for Bungoma differ fundamentally.
