Background subagents in Claude Code now use less of your usage limit. A running subagent updates its status line every 30 seconds, and each update used to re-read its whole conversation. Now Haiku 5.5 writes it from short notes instead, so each update costs about 99% less.

Asked Claude and went down the rabbit hole further: How it’s used in Chinese financial writing: Usually negative. It describes deals or price moves driven by financial maneuvering rather than business fundamentals. Examples are hype-driven IPOs, pump-and-dumps, shell-company reverse mergers, and serial M&A to boost valuations. About who wins. It implies insiders and big money (VCs, PE funds, controlling shareholders, 庄家/market makers) profit at retail investors’ expense. It’s often used together with 割韭菜 (“harvesting the leeks”), meaning fleecing retail investors. Sometimes neutral. It can simply mean the world of high finance: fundraising rounds, valuations, exits.

Well tbh I still have to be convinced that this is not an short-term exepectation drive to push up stocks. They really got to commit to shareholder returns in the long term but it's a good beginning

Because chinese companies have done very less to boost shareholder returns. Almost if it was a forbidden policy.
