ALT Two black and white photographs of fossil elements of the Nord-Pas-de_Calais coalfield flora. On the left, Neuropteris heterophylla (general view of secondary pinnules with venation; USTL 4191, Westphalian Bruay Formation); on the right Laveineopteris tenuifolia (fragment of frond showing the insertion of secondary pinnules; USTL 4194, Westphalian Vicoigne Formation). Scale bars (lower right corner of each photograph) are both 1 cm.

ALT A poster-style assemblage of the vertebrates recovered from the Crato Formation. The title says “Vertebrate Paleofauna of the Crato Formation” along the top of the poster. There is a small paragraph on the right side of the poster that says “The Crato Formation is an early Aptian (Early Cretaceous) Lagerstätte found in what is now the Araripe Basin of northeastern Brazil. During its formation, Crato was a seasonal, semi-arid, shallow lacustrine wetland surrounded by xeric terrestrial habitat; it preserves both aquatic and terrestrial specimens. Illustrations only include specimens described at the species level. Some described species may be missing. Not to scale. *U. jubatus is nomen dubium needing formal valid study.” All the animals are drawn as if they are alive, and all are coloured using the same colour pallet (greyish brown monochrome with pale green eyes). Their binomials are written in italics near each animal. More information available on request due to text limits.
