Happy National Coaches Day! Today, the SCFCA celebrates the coaches who teach, lead, encourage, and make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across South Carolina. Thank you for the time, care, and commitment you give your athletes and communities every day. We appreciate all that you do!

Selecting the 44 players for the Shrine Bowl and 88 for the North/South game is an incredibly difficult responsibility. There are talented players across our state, and with limited roster spots, some deserving athletes will be left off. We understand the disappointment for players, families, schools, and coaches. But publicly ridiculing the All-Star staffs is not the way to express that disappointment. These decisions are made after careful consideration by people who care deeply about South Carolina football and its athletes. We can disagree or feel disappointed while still showing respect for those who serve the game. Congratulations to every player selected, and to all the athletes who are having outstanding seasons. Your work and accomplishments matter, regardless of the roster. @ShrineBowlNCSC @NorthSouthFB @CarolinaCoaches

The South Carolina Football Coaches Association congratulates all the players selected for the 2026 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas! Your hard work and dedication have earned you this honor. We’re proud to see you represent your schools, communities, and the state of South Carolina. Best of luck as you prepare to take the field! @CarolinaCoaches @ShrineBowlNCSC
