Just launched stormcheck.app. Can’t get to your place or check on family/friends yourself? A neighbor can. Free, no account required, and your address stays private. It works for any storm across the country, but right now it’s up to help people dealing with Hurricane Isaias. I built something similar after Hurricane Michael to coordinate help and assistance requests. Doing the same thing again for Isaias. Built it over the weekend with @nextjs on @vercel, @laravel on my @Vultr VPS, @Cloudflare throughout, and a lot of help from @claudeai to move fast while it was still time-sensitive and of course @Remotion for the video. If you’re in an affected area (or dealing with any storm) or can help check on spots for others, the map is live now. Stay safe.
