Cancel your VRC+
VRChat does NOT care for you as a user, and it is overpriced for what you get. There is no reason to fund these people, especially now that they're going against *95%* of their users to avoid adding ai filters.
Vote with your wallets, hit them where it matters.
VRChat Ice Cream Party:
95% of people say they want ice cream.
10 say bring vanilla, chocolate and strawberry
10 say bring vanilla, cherry and mint
10 say bring chocolate and mint
10 say bring vanilla and mint
95% can't agree on the exact combo, so we should bring nothing.

Made my first review of VRchat on steam.
Been waiting for a long time to use my perspective to describe what was going on.
@VRChat You probably don't care, but we're not budging on this. You've even got ME out of the wood work.

I'm just saying, if there's one thing to take from this Vrchat situation is that- if the tag was related to NSFW and THIS was their response it?
This would be undeniably unacceptable for the same reasons of disclosure and not wanting to see that type content. What is the diff?
Reporting VRChat to Steam for having undisclosed AI generated content is the way to go with this. Reviews hurt, however they don't mean enough to make a difference as shown by when they added EAC. Still do it though obviously, the more places we push back the more chance we have

What if we just filled their steam page with negative reviews, cancelled VRC+ subs and reported their game on Steam for having AI generated content and not disclosing it, since they won't address the problem themselves?
95% of your userbase wants to filter AI content. HONOR it.

we change the (2+1) as N
the correct way is 6/2N, not 6N/2;
you treat 2N as one unit/grouping, not separating them as 2 times N.

FOR PEOPLE IN THE STEAM FRAME RESERVATION QUEUE:
Congrats! Soon (days to weeks) you will get an email allowing you to purchase your assigned model of Steam Frame, and you will have 72 hours to do so. It will then arrive likely within a week of ordering.
FOR PEOPLE IN THE STEAM FRAME WAITLIST:
I am so sorry for your loss. God was not so merciful with you. You’ll likely have to wait until 2027
Most autistic people don't learn to cope in the world, they're usually either labeled "autistic" and told not to do stuff or just called lazy, despite that not being the case. You have to learn how to use your strengths on your own, because only neurotypcals are taught theirs.

I have accidentally given British Miku too much aura so now if Argentina wins, I lose my main character and will be sad.
Come on England, score some fahkin gawls! #HatsuneMiku
Why do people always call translation layers emulators? Even the name for WINE (the biggest Windows to Linux translation layer that Valve builds on top of for Proton), originally meant "Windows Emulator". Nowadays it's "Wine Is Not Emulator" because it's not actually an emulator
The people in the replies to this are the same people that wonder why straight pride doesn't exist, and are also unironically the exact reason LGBTQ+ Pride exists in the first place.

I'm really surprised by this reaction honestly, I have seen so many people say they'll switch when SteamOS becomes available for desktop PCs. Why is this not seen as a huge thing that's happening???

I really don't think it's expensive for what it is. And here's why:
- It's a mid-range GAMING PC, not a console, with a mid-range GAMING PC price tag
- My stream PC, which I would consider low end, low budget, would cost me around £600+ to rebuild with all new parts now. Bear in mind the graphics card is obsolete so I would need to buy a new one. You could run stardew on that thing, it used to be able to play Monster Hunter but I doubt it could now or at least not on good graphical settings and definitely not wilds
- My game pc, which would be considered the higher end of mid-range, would cost me about £1'300+ to rebuild with new parts. That plays everything you'd want it to on high or ultra.
- In UK money, it's like £879 or smth for the steam machine (entry level). Which makes it either the high end of low range gaming pc's and a nice starter setup, or the low end of mid-range.
When you're out shopping for gaming pc's you don't compare them to consoles. You compare them to other pc's. We need to stop comparing it to a console, when it's not. And really, it's not that expensive either when you compare it to other prebuilds of around the same specs. And, they've even said you can have the OS for fwee to use on your existing machines, doing themselves out of money. I think thr biggest issue derives from it being pinned as a console not a pc.
If you were to buy a starter pre-build now off amazon it would be around that price.
Valve has explained why its new Steam Machine is so expensive after players criticized the price.
The entry-level model starts at around €1,000, while higher-end versions with more storage cost up to €1,500 and Valve says no discounts are planned.
According to Valve, keeping the price high helps support an open and sustainable PC gaming ecosystem over the long term.
The company also says that users with compatible hardware can install the same operating system on their own PCs.
For those who find the Steam Machine too expensive, Valve suggests either building a PC themselves or buying a traditional game console.
